I don't regret opening my 25th collection; although I did by 2 of those figures I really liked (1 loose, 1 MOC).

No regrets for me. I buy 2 of everything. I open one and keep the other MOC. I also made sure I didnt open the variants when I got them.

No regrets here either. I was lucky I didn't have time to open my Shark Shippy, so I get to keep him carded.

my only regret is that i don't have the space to open more. i keep atleast one of everything moc and open duplicates that i really like/bought. this has been limited to what i can fit on one table unfortunately. has i more space, i would have bought 2 of almost everything and opened all the duplicates. i find myself sneeking in atleast 1/2 figures a month into my displays;) those lav's and bradleys look like pack mules now.

Not everybody collects these figures MOC for their resale value (I keep reading people saying that). Some just love the vintage style packaging.
I've got two of every figure with one to keep sealed. Nostalgia has a sweet smell that's nice to keep around.

exactly, my moc collection has nothign to do with resale value rather preserving a bit of nostalgia for myself and my sons. 20 years from now, these are going to be for him what they are for me now. i know he will greatly appreciate the effort then as i would have had someone done this for me.
