This thread has become pointless. I regret starting it. Many seem to think I was played with (I explained that wasn't the case, if anything the dude got in trouble because I kept him for so long), others think I was asking for specific figures when there were other figures on the pegs (I thought I was clear but some don't want to read entire posts before giving their 2 cents I guess). Of course the story given to me was bs but the people working at target seem to believe it, at least at this target. And thats the problem.

I've actually had a similar expierence at target before. needless to say i called their corporate office and inquired about this so called "policy" and the representative I spoke with was appalled at what an employee of the target company said. Come to find out their whole "scalper policy" that the employee informed me of is completely BS! Targets policy is to provide a pleasant customer expierence and to help the customer with the product their looking for. The representative I spoke with said that they don't keep pictures of people buying products they keep pictures of people who are shop lifting only and those they turn over to the proper authorities. They do not try and stop customers from buying a certain amount of products (unless of course its something in the pharmacy isles). Best bet darthZartan is to call their customer service line tell them what happened and they will get to the bottom of the situation.

darthZartan,
I believe we are living in the same city. Anyway, I don't believe there is any Scalpers policy within the Target Corparate. However, it can be within local Target. Why do I believe this, because remember all clearance items are different prices from different Target stores. This tells you that each stores can implement different policy as long as they get approval from the corporate or perhaps not. My best bet is to contact the corporate and address your concern so they can launch the investigation. Good luck. |

Gotta love the guy to busy smoking and talking about what tatt he's gonna get next rather then get back to price gunnin' the frickin toy section he's assigned to.
