Why in the world do my AWESOME 25th figures have all these cool holsters for pistols, and sheaths for knives and, and none of the ROC don't?
Instead I get some weird, out of place missle launching piece of junk that I throw into the garbage IMMMEDIATELY. How come some kid in Pacoima can't shoot himself in the eye so we can get rid of these in future packaging. AH, just like the good old days of Fett rockets and Cylon Raider missles. Come on Darwin's Law, TAKE EFFECT ALREADY! |

xD
I wish the missile things would be replaced with alternate gear, more belts and harnesses with holsters. |

If some enterprising fellow out there had the mans and methods to cast holsters that would fit RoC figures and hold their sidearms, I imagine he would be moderately enriched.

Yup, the Elite-Viper's holster is as good as it gets, if it came with holsters on both sides, even better. Hasbro needs to modify that thing to fit the different handguns and waists (slimmer for females) out there.
I hope if they listen that they DON'T sculpt the holsters. Look at Red Star v2, horrible. |

It's crazy. the 25th line made great strides in weapon stowage. Functioning holsters were almost uniform. Some of the early ones were stupidly big (Destro and Duke being two of the worst offenders) but the later ones were getting really good. the Resolute and ROC figs have been almost devoid of working holsters. I've taken to making my own.
Vinyl tape (like electrical tape), Goo Gone, a sharp knife, and a little superglue is all you need to make your own holsters. The Goo Gone takes the adhesive right off the tape, then you can start cutting and test fitting until it fits the gun you want to holster the way you like. It can also be used for straps, belts, gun slings, and other things. If you've got a hobby shop near you, you can get .010 inch thick black styrene sheet, to make more rigid holsters out of. |

I've also made a direct replacement holster for Resolute figures that he will be selling as well. I tried to keep the original design aesthetics, but the pistol did not allow for a thin holster. Below you can see how the direct replacement will work. Just heat your resolute figure (or ROC Charbroil) in some hot water and pull the nonworking holster off, then glue in the new one. [/color] I can't post links to the store, but if you PM me I'll shoot the link to you.
