I've seen pics of the SDCC Destro thing, it looks pretty lame. My question to someone who has one is this thing much cooler in person or do people just want them to be complete or cause they think there gonna be worth something?
Honestly I just don't get it!!!! |

Just wondering why is there something that isn't obvious in the pics or something. Even the package looks really lame and pretty unjoe to me. I guess I'm trying to figure out what people like about it.

Well (for me) a lot of the charm of this set is the packaging made to look like a history book of Destro's family. I have also been wanting a normal business suited figure for a long time. The Ancient Destro is alright, but not as good as the business suit Destro.
If you already don't like the packaging or the figures from pictures then there's a fairly good chance you may just not like the set. This isn't always the case, when I first saw pictures of the set, I liked the Ancient Destro better, but after I got them in hand, that changed. Detail and articulation are what I look for in most figures, both of these have a good amount of detail (The ancient Destro falls a little short in the articulation department) |

yea the destro in suit is kind cool, I guess the rest is what ruins it. I figure we will see the destro in the suit mold again though

I agree the packaging and presentation is one of best I've seen from a Comic Con exclusive. The figures itself are just as impressive.
