The real Chenowth Miltary SpecOps Buggy is way better than those two, see below in the real scale as it shoul be:
M1045 TOW, 2nd USMC Recon Battalion Super Humvee, Desert Patrol Vehicle (DPV) and U.S. Army Ranger Bike Last edited by Starfighter; 08-09-2008 at 10:23 AM.. |

I think this thread has gotten away from what it is supposed to be: ARAH G.I. Joe vehicles that are compatible to the 25th figures.
I also think there have been some misperceptions as to what is compatible and what is not. I have personally tried these: NON-COMPATIBLE: Dreadnok Tri-Cycle: the figure is only compatible on the front seat with the handlebars; the figure DOES NOT fit in the gun turret. You can't turn the turret because its feet hangs off because the figure is too big and long. Cobra BUGG: the figures only fit in the rear gun turrent. Cobra Battle Barge: You have to force the figures down hard to get them in there, and most will still not sit all the way down. If the figure has something on its leg (pouch, larger hand gun), it most likely will not fit, either. Zanzibar's Air Skiff: the back prong is the main reason, and the figure is just too big/long. The figure swallows the skiff. Cobra Jet Pack: the back prong is too high up and it doesn't fit the figure. Cobra Night Landing: the figures will not sit on the seats in the middle; they are too long and the seats are made for shorter legs. The figure that sits on the rear seat by the motor can sit on the rear seat if its legs are straightened and slid under the seat in front. Looks kind of stupid and unnatural. Python Patrol ASP: certain figures CAN fit (forget about Snow Serpent or BAT), but it is ridiculously tight; does not look natural or right. Kind of humorous to see. The figures head sticks way out and above the railing in order to close the overhead railing all the way. COMPATIBLE: Cobra Hydro Sled: they fit as well as the RAH figs do; their feet hang off the back just like RAH figs do. FANG II: Great fit. Cobra Wolf: The rear seat fits figures very comfortably. The front one is a little more difficult, but they'll fit in there as well as they do in the reissued VAMP. DEMON: figs made after wave 4 fit nicely (hence the fixed crotch), but even waves 1-4 will fit. AGP: Great fit. Darklon's Evader: most all seem to fit. Despoiler: fit fine; Destro's sword must be removed. Snow Cat: despite earlier reportings, I tried many figures and they fit fine; you have to work them in a bit like you do the new AWE Striker or VAMP. Mudfighter: Great fit. Warthog: fit as well as they do in the new VAMP. Desert Fox: fit well; to get them to use the gun turret, just place his or her hands on the gun handles and the figure will stay despite the foot prongs being too big. Artic Blast: fit pretty well; figures with fixed crotches fit much nicer and better, though. Rolling Thunder: figures fit in all places where they are meant to be seated. The only minor grievance is that while in the four outter white seats with guns, it is impossible for their hands to reach the gun handles; they can only "hold" the gun itself. Otherwise, they look great in this great playset/vehicle. Coastal Defender: the figures I tried (Beachhead, Falcon, Bomber Jacket Hawk) fit in the chair. Pogo Ballistic Battle Ball: The figure will fit; you have to poke him or her down in there, but the fig will fit (a bit of a silly, impractical vehicle, though, huh?) I bought a Whirlwind awhile back and used Grand Slam in it. I think there is a foot stop molded into the seating area for the original figure's feet to rest against, but since the 25th figures are taller, their feet go past this. It doesn't take away from the look, though. I'm sure some figures will have a problem sitting in it. Grand Slam does not, though.

I noticed last night that the cobra troopers with the fixed crotches- the python one and the one from the dvd pack- fit in the back seat of the old rattlers.

I don't thin so if you look back though the tread you find that all sort of 1:18 vehicles have been posted almost from the start

really the only issue is the top gunner position (the hover vehicle in the back and the cockpit work just fine. It depends on who you stick up there... but most figures feet dangle a little over the edge of the seat. I call it compatible though, cause it still looks fine. |
