My TRU has at least four pegs with nothing but Firefly and BBQ. I'd say easily 20 of each. I jumped on these guys when the were 2/$9.99 I know they're repaints but I'm a sucker for exclusives..besides the Firefly rules.

ANYONE WHO LIKED THE GI Joe POSTERS!!!!!
I have a huge high quality printing of the Snake Eyes and storm shadow one. Think is masive measuring a little shy of 6 feet by 6 feet. Its printed on a fabric but the detail and high quality is stunning. I'm going to be uploading photos soon enough but i swiped it when they took it down at a toys r us SUPER CENTER. Less than 20 of these were even maded by the company. The print is the same as the cardboard only better quality, larger, and on kinda a fabric comparable to a wall scoll.. send offers to [email protected] |

Was there a GI Joe movie this year? Was it an indie film or something? guess my walmart never got the memo of any "Blockbusters" after TF: RotF.
so far, my walmart has had absolutely DICK as far as ROC toys. those Corps! and that other knockoff line (the wannabe 12inch Joes) have more shelf and peg space. Haven't been to TRU in some time, so i am scared to imagine the Joe "Desert of Woe" they have.

I didn't even know people cared about Star Wars still. It was cool in the late 90s... like 1996-1999.. but... yeah...

Well, it was fun while it lasted and a pretty cool display. If they get rid of some of the junk they've had on the pegs for years now, they can give the Joes the space they deserve. My TRU has one little corner devoted to G.I. Joe besides the front display. It was where I found some of the better figures the other day though.

I turned the display down and let my old boss take it for his kids. He's gonna grab me some background pieces and the large symbols. I cant take anymore display crap. I did get the Duke stand up from 711 , I figured the guy would forget but he was excited to give it to me I took it. I now have Dukes come hither stare looking right through me a few times a day.
