I own seven skystrikers - 4 customized into skywarp, thundercracker, starscream, and *waspinator?!?!*, 1 is on deck for Jetfire, the other two for Ace and his wingman - probably a custom "Armbuster".
That said, I'd have a hard time NOT buying more. I freaking love these. |

I haven't done it, but I seem to recall people suggesting some clear nail polish on the hardpoints thickens them up and helps the missles to stay on better. I found that the middle and large missles stay on longer if you switch the points where they normally go.
Even after what I said earlier, I'm tempted to hit TJ Maxx to see if there is one there.

That or dried super glue should work. I've used that method to tighten up loose joints on Transformers before.

I bought one at Target when they first came out.
I just put it together a few weeks ago and got it all decaled up. I really like the decals and I added a few extras to spice it up. Looks pretty good. My only compaint much like alot of people is the missles falling off. Did anyone glues there on or find an alternative way of making them stay? it is sticky but it won't get stuck to your stuff. EDIT: It's called: Blu-Tack - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia hope this helps. I know it will. |

I'm with croc. These have been all over the map on price, so I can pass. I hope ross / tjmax affiliates does not start marking the price high on tab like tuesday morning has been doing wiht some things (like star wars dudes). What I mean is they are still retail price (or damn close). For instance I saw some staw wars knight at tuesday for 9.99, same price at waldo. on the tm sticker it said retail price 19.99 marked down to 14.99 tmmarked down to 9.99. The skystriker is still a deal at about 40% off I guess, but eh, not when they are 10 bucks or less still in the wild. COBRA!

My problem is the same as the Ross thread, I thibnk Hasbro is shooting themselves in the foot rushing all of these items to the discount market. It encourages the "wait for whomever's name here" mentality. It only hurts our brand in the long term.

Not to highjack the thread, but what do you mean by hardpoints? Are you referring to the tabs on the wings?
