Here is the part I'm trying to get. Why would someone take out NEW figures, and replace them with perfectly good and practically pristine VINTAGE figures? The cards are sharp, no yellowing or anything on the bubble...
I'm stymied. They had the Hall of Heroes Zartan, Crimson Guard and a BAT along with this Rock and Roll and Gung Ho. Josh! |

If those are MOC '89 RnR and '92 Gung Ho, I'd say you made a great find! It's hard to believe someone would of swaped those out for the HOH figs, since the older ones are worth more money IMO

But why would anyone give up those two for two discounted Hall of Hero's figures? This is almost as bad as that re-pack with the vintage Thunder machine and a really nice custom Slaughter.

The person who did this gets off on stymying people. It reminds me of the time someone put a kick ass custom of 25th Sgt. Slaughter, in for ready for this? Not the Alpine in the dvd pack #5 but for the vac metal Cobra Commander. True he's the second most desirable figure in the pack, but come on? Leaving the Alpine, and swaping a good Sgt. Slaughter custom? Stymying. I do declare!

It could be that the repacker doesn't realize how valuable those carded figures are now. (I know just 5-6 years ago, I could buy those figures MOC for $5-$10 each)
