I can't lie I had your SAME attitude going into it, I only had plans of getting the WM exclusives too. But As I saw the stuff coming out...it was too hard to pass up! And I'm not buying them, just because it's the only Joe stuff out now. I'm buying the stuff because they look REALLY good. I'm a big fan of GI Joe, but I'm a bigger fan of good looking toys...(which is why Joe during it's Spytroops years took a backseat to Marvel Legends for awhile)
The 25th stuff was great it IS great, it got me back into being a avid Joe collector and back into customizing. I had lots of fun hunting for it, and loved all the experiences seeing classic cards on the pegs...but it's over for now, and I'm willing to move on. For something that was only supposed to be two 5 Packs in 2007, I have to say we've gotten a LOT from Hasbro in a short amount of time. A new era for GI Joe is here, and I think it's going to do a good job of keeping the Joe vs Cobra saga alive and well. I'm loving the ROC figures now.

That's just it, the Exclusives look NOTHING like the ROC main line, they do not have the same design aesthetic that I dislike. They have a more classic feel, and in some cases are classic molds (In the case of the Mini-Playsets and Vehicles). I have not seen a SINGLE main line ROC of POC figure that I remotely like, in my eyes that makes the Exclusives a different animal.

I like the RoC line... and Resolute. Instead of looking like a rag-tag army of eclectic soldiers there is some uniformity to the Joe team and they actually look like a Spec-Ops crack military force. The detail on the new RoC and Resolute soldiers is unbelievable compared to what I was working with in 87'
