I want a Cobra Temple from Revenge of Cobra; complete with a weather dominator that rises out of the cobra's mouth. That would be sweet.
Or better yet, I want a Terrordrome from the movie a gigantic one. I know its not a playset, but who would want a Hiss Tank from the cartoon? Ever notice there were two Hiss tank types, the one we are all familiar with and the big one that had two drivers and two gun turrets. If they made the big one it could probably hold figures in the back. (This Hiss was for sure in the Pyramid of Darkness series). |

The Flagg. I had the Defiant, and while hella cool, it was no Flagg.
Best Christmas EVER though. Waking up to the Defiant covered with all new Joes.... pure awsomeness. My parents really went all out that year.

A "Dr. Venom's lab with Brainwave Scanner" playset would have been cool. It wouldn't be so big that storage or price would be a problem.

I think the purpose of the thread is to name playsets that were never produced, but that we would have liked to have been produced... not just ones that were produced and we didn't get.
If that's the case, I would love to have seen a large, complex Cobra fortress of some kind, complete with an "Arena of Sport". I would also liked to have see the big Cobra Aircraft that worked like a flying Aircraft carrier and looked like a giant snake with wings. A comic accurate PITT would have been great. A Ft. Wadsworth playset could have been awesome. Transport Aircraft like as Osprey for the Joes would be awesome. A Big Joe submarine would be cool... one with lock-out tubes for the SEALs to deploy. THat would be awesome.

You pickup one of the NARNIA castle playsets on clearance at TRU?
Got one for like $19. Pretty big, awesome accurate for Castle Destro. The mounting gun points on the top fit the new ROC guns (some), as well as the INDY vehicle guns. Repainted, removed the 2 stickers, outfitted w/ a ton of extra sticker details, and it is wicked awesome. Perfect Castle Destro. Even has sounds & lights, ones that aren't lame. Basement dungeon, nice. Also 3 3/4 sized.

Playset I always wanted... The jumbo Cobra coptor / base ship.
The one that sinks the Flagg in the original cartoon? That thing was massive, and awesome. Also, maybe a Joe Space Station like in Pyramid of Darkness. But just one... Cobra Mountain. And not a repainted Star Wars playset (aside, that one is kinda neat, but small..) A big ole' $200 pricetag lotta plastic takes up like 4 feet Cobra Mountain. Would be an Iwo Jima style fortress, w/ underground bunkers, Firebat attack iris at the top like the Terror Drome, trenches, boulders, faux barbed-wire, STA missle embankments... Wow.
