Think they'll do anything to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Star Brigade?

They do that, no chance of the 25th/ME stuff coming back before the 50th anniversary.

I just have to throw my 2 cents in again. The stuff that was shown is without a doubt the best Joe stuff they have come up with since the original arah started. I see no reason to even think about ME line. COme on this line is incedible. I feel sorry for you guys that keep crying about the ME line and all the "this is crap stuff". Pretty sad that you can't see quality. Anyways i'm in love with what was shown(though not big on the transforming bike thing). Thanks Hasbro.

I like the new uniforms and In two years it will be called something else! GI Joe Revenge of Cobra Commander or Rise of Serpentor.

I do love the new toys. That Recondo is sweet. I also like the Zartan and Jungle Viper. Good things are on the way!

Don't expect the line to go "back" to being the 25th line. It's not gonna.
Classics 25th line is drained resource right now. It doesn't have the iconic popular characters to continue full out like it used to. Yes i agree there are still characters that need to be made, but they couldn't base a whole line on that. If they did try to I'd almost bet we'd still pretty much end up getting what were getting with new modern versions of mainstays for padding. We will for sure have this for all of 2010, but hasbro usually likes to change the theme every year to keep it fresh for retailers. So while i imagine we'll still have this style of modern figures the "story" for the line could change from themes this year. Then after that the new movie will come out and that will be the focus. I do still think we should get some resolute and classic based stuff, but it is not the main focus of the line anymore. But I'm confident we'll see some some show up here and there in the line Last edited by RayH; 08-16-2009 at 08:25 PM.. |

There's not enugh to base a whole line around, which is why I think in mid-2010 we'll see stuff working together.
Say 8 figures to a wave. 4 are PoC, 2 are Resolute or Cartoon or IDW, 2 are Classic. Something like that is what I think will happen.
