Besides that he looks like Freddie Mercury.
I like "Princes of the universe" as much as the next guy but I have people offering me $20 for this figure if I buy the Rhino What am I missing?

Well, it's a Modern Joe.
You need him if you're ever going to do a complete "Massacre of the Joes in Trucial Abysmia" diorama (which actually is why I've sort of contemplated getting one). The chances of him getting re-issued are practically zero. He's not a popular character so this is it. Plus his vintage counterpart is legendary for being difficult to obtain complete because of the mic. Joe collectors are also starved for Modern representations of classic ARAH characters right now. Also, you have to buy a relatively expensive vehicle to get him. Nobody wants to pay $40-50 just for the action figure itself. They don't really want the RHINO. So they content themselves by offering $20 for the action figure alone. Last edited by Barefoot Jedi; 08-11-2009 at 09:39 PM.. |

Yes if only it had large legs/baggy pants like the original version also didn't.

Hell, I'd take $20 for that figure if I pick up a Rhino. I'd considered picking one up anyway so I would gladly sell the figure for $20 + shipping.
