I forgot to add Helix myself, she's kind of become a big part of my modern Joeverse. Nice to see the women figures getting some respect and commando love.

I've got RoC CC, PPSS, Helix, Flash, and RoC Firefly. CC is a goof, but I had to buy him for some reason I haven't quite begun to comprehend. Ill also score a Doctor. |

Only the REAL Joes and Cobra get in. Or new character who's history and looks they haven't screwed up. Helix is a sweet fig.

Hmmm...
Steel Crusher renamed Blockbuster, Alley Viper vehicle. Nitro-Viper renamed Motor Viper TRU exclusive Firefly renamed Invid Gunship Firefly renamed Sloth Baroness renamed Avaricia (last three part of the Seven Deadly SINS who work for the Baroness) Destro with 25th XAMOT head used for an arctic XAMOT (will do the same for TOMAX with the blue ROC Destro from the 3-pack) Deep Six with a Resolute 5-pack Duke head renamed Frenzy, the COBRA shark trainer Ice Vipers used as, well, Ice Vipers Paris Pursuit Snake Eyes with an Ice Viper's head, a Darth Vader helmet, and deleted scene ROTJ Luke Skywalker's goggles as Shogun, a character in my Joeverse. Look based on the Jin-Roh Wolf Brigade anime. TRU exclusive Barbeque will get a COBRA sticker to cover the Joe logo on his shoulder and become a COBRA firefighter Target Eels are, well, Eels. I plan to use the white labcoat Doctor with a Revenge of the Sith Tarkin head as Dr. Venom. I also plan to get at least four ROC Para-Vipers. I'll probably get the Paris Pursuit Baroness and headswap her as well. |

Extra ROC Flash makes good laser troopers to back up 25th Flash and or as COBRA laser troopers too.
Also, TRU exclusive Firefly makes for good saboteur team with some varied accessories (There's enough of them to spread around from the variations of firefly from before, as well as gas masks and such) to any of the 25th/Modern Era more vintage looking Firefly figures as the leader. And TRU exclusive Barbecue makes for good hostile environment troopers because of his suit color, the ROC Barbecue suit sorta screams bio-hazard, to me. You can also put some different accessories (shovels, crowbars, chainsaws) on that figure to make him back up rescue troops for the 25th/Modern Era Barbecue as the leader there, too. |

so far the Ice Viper, Scrap Iron and TRU Fire Fly. I plan on adding Helix and a couple of others but none of the more recognized joes like Duke or Ripcord. I have a thing about not collecting figs that are made to look like real people (with the exception of Sgt. Slaughter). I'm mainly waiting for Resolute.

Some considered customs with the 25th:
I'm saving the desert ambush Duke head for Ripcord when I get him. Originally planned to use this as a Beachhead head but I wound up modifying a BBI head for the neckball that in my mind captures him better. Ripcord's head has become the base for my custom Bulletproof along with a spare movie Firefly body I have lying around and a non-joe tac-vest that simply rocks and maybe a Protec helmet from broken arrow or the DTC Barrel Roll helmet, and a Maraudr MP5 modified with his awesome Silencer for the Uzi...not going to be a dead on recreation, kind of a Resolute version I guess. Firefly debating on using the same body for a custom Lowlight and ordering the Broken Arrow kit to make him up with...or I may cobble it together myself with the DTC Lowlight vest and Pit Commando backpack (keep the rappeling harness that Firefly comes with) Plus, I really dig the CP Beachhead rifle he has along with all the cool gear and that can be slated for future use with other figs...maybe I can use the excess gear to create some custom Cobra Sappers. Heavy Duty, (camo variant) I decided to add him, taking the old T-crotch heavy duty head and modifying it for the body (anyone else think the headsculpt sucked) and awarding him the armored Heavy Duty Chaingun. Turns out he looks pretty slick like this, kind of the easiest LBC custom in history. |
