The reset is set in my store for week 29 of our fiscal year, which is the week starting this coming saturday. We are going overnights starting sunday night to reset the entire department, working 4 ten hour shifts. This IS the "Christmas" reset. As far as when toys are stocked, they generally go out the night they come in, unless they are street dated or marked as "new mod." New mod merchandise is usually set aside until the reset, as it doesn't have a specific "home" until that time and the department manager wants to save that stock so he or she can fill the new home in the reset aisle. Thus, when the reset is complete, all the new items on the mod actually have merchandise in to fill their respective homes with and the aisles look decent, for atleast a day or two. Trust me, I worked toys at Walmart for 3 years. Thats how it works. I moved to sporting goods tho...much less headache there.

Great info! I guess I'll be checking after "week 29"
