1. Do you buy complete waves when you find them, do you order cases on line, do you buy single figure ie. cherry pick, or are you a completists?
I cherry pick because I have a limited budget and I really only like certain characters/sculpts. 2. To open or not to open and why? Open. I never saw the point in MOC, these are toys and need to eb treated as such. I pose them photograph them, play with them,. They're suppossed ot be fun items. I'm nto bashing MOC collecters though. Do what you feel is right 3. Do you set them up or do they go into a baggy or tote bin. Both, i have limited space so i rotate what i ahve displayed and store the rest in baggies. 4. Why do you collect? It's fun also as a kid we couldn't afford toys as often as i'd have liked. so now i indulge when i have the spare cash. I'm appeasing the spoiled kid in the 80's who was disappointed in not getting what hh wanted.

I just get as many of the figures i can. I was late with the 25th line so a lot i still don't have. With ROC i'm wanting to get mainly the Joes in their RA, then any others i like. Cobra i'm just getting about all of em. And yeah figures i like, if a figure has a weird looking head (cammo Scarlet) i'd probably pass on em.

i buy tha figs i like, maybe a couple others here and there for other people. i usually dont keep any moc, and i used to keep some figs on display. but when i go back to skool for each semester i put them away, cuz when people would come over while i was away, their kids would get let into my room, and i hated when i would come home to see figures lying on tha floor. so i'd put them all away, and i actually started takin some wit me cuz i would hunt while i was away at skool. i collect em cuz i luv action figures cuz theyre so awesome lol. right now i have my 3 marvel universe figures on display, ultimate cap, silver surfer, and iron fist. and next week after wizard world, theres gonna be plenty more figs to put up lol.

I'm an opener. Almost never keep things carded... although I do have a pretty good carded Snake Eyes collection.
I collect figures only, and I try to be a collect the complete line. Sometimes I can't justify buying that extra repaint that comes with a vehicle and I'll just let it go... As for the ROC line, I'm only buy what I like. I can't justify spending $8 a pop on those horrendous Viper figures...

It really depends. I try to get all unique character releases (including blatant re-paints). I don't really go in for multiples of single characters, but it's inevitable you end up with tonnes of certain ones (Snake Eyes, anyone?) either via wanting a better release, multi-pack inclusion, or now with RoC versions. 2. To open or not to open and why? I have to open them. I've tried keeping some of them packaged...but the kid in me that drives me to buy them insists I take them out and set them up with their gear (and clip and file the cards). 3. Do you set them up or do they go into a baggy or tote bin. Both. I only ever have one of any character out (with the exception of Cobra Troopers/Vipers ect.). The other versions get bagged and stored. 4. Why do you collect? Same reason as most anyone here I think: I grew up on this, and there must be some bizarre hole that needs filling with plastic addiction. ;)
