I can see it going 2 ways: modern figures on a vintage card or the following more likely one: o-ring reproductions. The reason that is likely is because the Star Wars retro-line and the transformers retro line were both repros.

I was going to start a new thread with a question, but I think I'll piggyback here. I returned to GI Joe a few years ago and built up a modern collection (post-25th anniversary). I lost interest in it after a while and still have one glaring hole: Snake Eyes.
I know the "Ultimate" Snake Eyes and Snake Eyes v54 are the go-to modern Snake Eyes, but neither are very affordable or even find-able on eBay. How are the v28 and v30 25th Anniversary Snake Eyes? I don't have any 25th figures in my collection at the moment (at least on display). Would the 25th Snake Eyes stand out? I'm just looking for a decent option to stand with my few Joes in their futile stand against an enormous number of Cobra troopers.

Sorry man but the v28 and v30 stick out like a sore thumb. A good stand in would be the Paris Pursuit movie SE, the PoC SE with Timber, RoC Resolute SE, or any of the various Retaliation ones. The Wave 1 Retaliation Snake Eyes is actually really great if you get him some proper webgear and is available really cheap. The gear he comes with sucks tho.
I thought the 25th might not look great next to what I already had.

the 25th Snake Eyes doesn't look bad, he just looks REALLY SMALL. Like he looks like he'd be 5'7" if he was a real person when standing next to more modern figures.

Ultimate Snake Eyes is the king as far as modern SE figures go. But low key the resolute is such a win . Such a great variation.
