I hope to be able to collect it if Hasbro makes them look more like Destro and the retail Snake-Eyes. If they fix the line, the first few figures can be filed away with 1995 POTF2 in the "ugly and embarrassing misfit toy" box. The aping of the Fortnite style is obvious, undeniable, misguided and terrible. Joe was a massive trendsetter in the '80s but as it petered out in the '90s it fell into the trap of ripping off other toy lines, which it is doing now again with this line. The laughable sci-fi weapons, the garish bright colors and the hideous clashing of styles, with Duke having a video game Mike Tyson's Punch-out bruiser face and Scarlett having an anime girl face, make this toy line look like a complete joke that insults the legacy of the G.I. Joe brand.
The ONLY truly successful Joe relaunch was the 25th line which essentially continued on through the end of the Collector's Club. It was successful because it modernized the original Joe designs, the only designs for the property that ever had a fanbase. Doing that again in 6-inch is the only way this line can succeed. The hate for the Fortnite style is loud and widespread across the internet on all forums and social media. Hasbro has to be hearing it. They got a reprieve by making a respectable Destro and improved retail Snake-Eyes. But if they don't continue in that direction and we see pink/purple highlights on Baroness, a Super Mario-ish head on Gung-Ho and exaggerated cartoony proportions on the CC helmet, the line will die a quick and painful death.

I don't get the fortnite comparison. I own Fortnite figures, these don't look much like them outside of the designs Fortnite appropriated. Even then, the art style is completely different.

Agreed. We’ve had people point it out dozens of times but the nay sayers never listen.

I'd buy a Super Mario Gung Ho.
