HI guys, with so many JOes coming out now (ROC) and the new vehicals coming out, I feel that the 25th JOes (not all) but LIke Duke for example are not looing so great next to the new stuff....
Same with the Old School Troopers.... Dont get me wrong I love them, and I hate most of the new ROC figures, Not all and some will make it into my collection, but I feel that Resoulte would feed my Nostalga at the same time really fitting in with the ROC stuff. I did this with my troopers and switched them all for ROC Troopers and out them with the ROC vehicals and WHOLA... THEY LOOKED PERFECT, what should have been done in the first place.... SO my question to you guys who can be a little OCD about this stuff, how are you handling the ROC, 25th and Resolute.... Do you mix all three... Stick with only one... HELP>.... TO MANY JOES>>>> |

I don't care about when or where they came, all I care about is my personal Joe vision. In my Joe Verse I can fit in what ever I want to fit. Do what ever makes you happy, this is your collection after all.

I can't mix ARAH with the new stuff, but the Resolute, ROC, and 25th are working fine side-by-side no problem (Helix, and ShipWreck are even in my 'display' Joe team ((which is led by Resolute Duke... but I did paint his arms/face so he didn't look so waxy next to everyone else))

The ROC Joes that I don't disassemble for customs will be an EU/NATO team. ROC Baroness, SE, and SS blend in fine with 25th/ME.
The earlier 25th molds have their problems with articulation and some pretty bad head sculpts, but they're still tops in my book. I've picked up a couple Resolute Troopers, but I have a ton more Blueshirts, CG's, etc. Need more Resolute Joes (not to mention a Cobra sigil on the Troopers vest and/or helmet) before I troop build Resolute. Just not feeling the ROC Vipers as troop builders. |

Mixed, with the best from all the lines. I prefer the "fictional" head sculpts over RoC's "realistic" head sculpts (Helix and Shipwreck don't fall in this category though, albeit coming from the RoC line). But the uniforms from RoC I find interesting enough.
I agree with the tankers here that it's each one's collection to view and do with as each pleases. |
