Which is the best in your opinion? Is it the MCC? The General? How about the Rolling Thunder? Or are you a fan of the Pit? Which one serves the best purpose? I left out the Flagg and Defiant intentionally since the Flagg isn't mobile and the Defiant seems more like a playset.

The RoC pit is my fave, but I have to say the MCC is the best.

The Pit is your fave? I had it, but wasn't thrilled with it. The cancelled cobra mobile base using parts from it was definitely the better design. I have the MCC and love it, but it's a pain to display given its large footprint when fully opened. I'm contemplating getting a Rolling Thunder, since its large but not nearly as big of footprint since it doesn't fold out. The general is cool, but would've been cooler for me if instead of a mortar, the back opened up to a small bay to allow smaller vehicles to be stored inside or even the locust that came with it. I'd like to see how the general and RT size up next to the MCC and also how they look with modern figures.

The MCC has a lot going on. Multi-pilot bay, forward and rear missile batteries, missile turret up top, helipad, escape slide, elevator, vehicle service bay with refueling hose/crane/spare engine, rifle rack, prison cell, two bunks, glass map panel, 3-station sliding command chair, spotlights and mounted machine guns for defense, and spare missiles up top for the turret. Have I left anything out?
The play value was excellent. I defy you to find anything near that number of amenities in the General or Rolling Thunder (never had The Pit so amenities count may compare there - I wouldn't know). I had both the MCC and the General as a kid and without a doubt the MCC got the most play by far. The General was sold at a yard sale decades ago but the MCC is currently parked in my kids' room. It's still making memories!

Well said Zap. I had the MCC as a kid, and LOVED it. I think my mom threw it out or sold it at a yard sale when I was in college. The rolling thunder is a close second. The rolling thunder probably has more fire power than any other Joe (or Star Wars) vehicle. The MCC just needs a paint job. The colors make it look very old fashioned, and not in a good way. Never had the PIT, but I thought it seemed kind of dumb.

I remember I think it's a cool video. The Rolling Thunder is awesome. The mobile command center has a lot of great Play features. The General is just a big rolling Kick-Ass monstrous vehicle. I have the pit but never messed around with it much. I bought it on clearance from toyzam. The manager made it so cheap for me that I couldn't say no. I think I bought the thing for less than $60

Only reason I got the pit was due to finding it at a yard sale for $5. I didn't understand what they were going for on the design, it looked like a boat with wheels and when opened I guess it was supposed to look like it was underground, except it's hard to be underground if its sitting on the ground with pieces jutting into the air. I chopped it up for customs a few years ago.

I liked the General probably more so because it is the only one I recall seeing and playing with as a kid. I loved how it served as a mobile helipad and then you could flip up the turrets. It certainly has alot less features than the Rolling Thunder or MCC but the nostalgia for me is what gives it my vote.
