Target Exclusives not for every Target

I checked two Targets and was informed they would not be carrying the Target exclusive ROC joes. I was shocked and in checking their system the exclusives are listed as not being carried by the store. Don't know if this is a regional thing or what.

I did find one Target in my area that had the Eel /Wavecrusher exclusives and grabbed just the Eel I couldn't stand the rest. I also couldn't resist the RHINO so I grabbed it and I must say I am loving Heavy Metal err Rampage.

This is news to me. I had never heard of this before.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is yet another example of misinformation by store employees. I've never heard of Targets not getting their exclusives.

Wal-Mart? Now that's a horse of a different flavor...

IF i had a Target I would protest for you.

I live in Upper MI. and we've got one Target in 100s of miles. Ours usually does NOT carry the target only stuff.

I've noticed it more in transformers than anything else but yeah. I see "Only at target" stuff online that never comes though our store.

Walmart too. heck the GI Joe section at or one and only walmart in 100s of miles is 3 pegs and one shelf space. That's IT.

Being a collector up here sucks.

Does anyone have the DCPI for these?I want my Blake Snake armor.If this is true,then Target really screwed the pooch on these.

It's not just the employees saying it but the scanner saying not carried at this location. I guess the UBP fiasco killed some Targets on carrying Target exclusive joes. I bought 8 UBP for $13 each it had to be a blood bath for Target toy sales along with several of the planes being sold at discount also.

Well, keep this in mind - Even when Target is blowing out toys at rock bottom prices..they're not losing any money on the product, just losing their margin of profit. Getting a UBP for $13 and a Rattler for 6 and change is more than likely Target's cost per unit.

I don't like the sounds of this.
I've always had good luck with Target.

So the RHINO is being sold at stores? I thought it was going to be from Target online only.
