ROC Night Raven Poll

Now that most of us has the opportunity to get the new Night Raven... what do you think?

Personally, I'm packing it backing it back up and returning it. :(

I have the vintage one which looks so much better. Even when I tried to think of the new Night Raven as a different jet, I just don't like the boxy design of it. I'm sure my 3 y/o would like it... it just doesn't do it for me.

Wondering what you guys thought.

BTW, to remove the cockpit section from the main jet section, unscrew the screws just enough to be able to pull it out. Best way to do it without damage.

I have 2 vintage ones. I am not going to get this version...

seeing how I don't have either version.. i'd probally get the new one, and repaint her, and clear coat it in ppgs like the original color the bird was in back then.

I hope they do poorly enough that Hasbro will be forced to do a "Then and Now" Night Raven pack to clear the excess stock.

That would be cool, but imagine the size of the box...lol

I'm in the minority but I like the ROC Night Raven. I also like the Strato-Viper repaint. Right now I'm using it as a Strato-Viper commander, a specific character I'm calling Quicksilver.

I'd get at least one more on significant clearance.

I have a complete loose 1986 one as well, my childhood Raven, actually.

Where's the "I HAVE the VINTAGE and can't bring myself to buy the ROC @ $40.oo" option. I don't love the ROC version but I don't hate it either. I have my vintage one, though I'm missing the Strato-Viper. If and only if these go on clearance < $20.00 I'll get it but right now you'd have to hypnotize me to buy at $40.oo. Isn't this ROC ver half the size of the original?

I want a Vintage one again, and I will not touch the ROC one unless it's on clearance.

This thing had epic fail written all over it as soon as they painted the box art. If it even remotley looked like it does in the movie I would get one (or closer to the original). This thing will NEVER spawn its ugliness on one of my display shelves or hang next to my complete minty vintage ones...and yes I can say "never" in this case so don't quote that Sean Conery James Bond movie title song "never say never again" cause I just did

I love my RoC Night Raven. If they ever go on sale, squadron. But if they don't, happy with one.

Terrordrome seems to say it may get a Silver repaint like the original did.
