You know, it's funny, there definitely ARE some new sculpt figures I really liked, the VvV Bazooka is a good example of that, and I remember a Cobra Commander that stood out. I also LOVED the comic pack stuff, updating the old figures with new head sculpts was awesome. I think a lot of what hurt those three lines was a lack of consistent design. It was almost as if they couldn't settle on what look they wanted to have from figure to figure, and so we got a few pretty good designs like the ones I mentioned already, and even more that were not so great, like the weird animal hybrids and most of the JvC line. To further add to that, as much as I loved the ARAH redecoes they were releasing occasionally at the time, it only added to the inconsistency, as they just didn't fit well together. As an example, the spy troops "army builder" pack with the viper/alley viper combo looked way out of place alongside the Alley viper II/VvV Viper (that viper also wasn't too shabby).
As far as vehicles go, I was just recently reminded of how cool the Night Attack Chopper was in another thread, and I also really liked the Patriot Grizzly. All of that aside, I have to admit I often find myself wondering if at some point I won't become nostalgic for that era as well, though. I did have quite a large collection of them, and it's been long enough for that bug to set in. |

Yea unfortunately. I mean the ferret is out of scale for an ATV so you could always suspend disbelief. I do agree with Yeet on the ROC Snarler cycle from 2010.
Do you collect alot of the VvV/Spy Troops era stuff? |

I never have. I actually really disliked that whole era but things have started to grow on me. Might just be the lack of product out right now but some stuff isn’t as bad as I’d originally thought. It’s not as good as the vehicles from the 80’s but still not completely horrible.
