i guess it depends on how bad you want them.. I have 3 of each set on ebay.. but my problem is.. I bought and paid for them 2 days before everyone annouced that they where pre-ordering :( I paid $95 each box from hong kong..
I will sell them but I need AT LEAST 75 a set to be willing to part with the boxes.. what a kick in the balls.. Im going to take a hell of a loss on these. |

Steelgrave has a point.
Frustrates me too... the people that buy up multiples of everything when I can't find just one. I've thought about giving up before - sometimes fighting against the hoarders is an uphill battle. But in the end, I realize its just a hobby - and I just need to have fun with it - for me. I don't need to compete with all the morons out there. Sure, I've never seen a clear Wraith and never got my ONE Doc... but I still have fun. Alot of you on here could use a look in the mirror. If you can't understand Steelgrave's point - you are in this 'hobby' for the wrong reasons... How so? You can't blame distribution on collectors. If person A goes in to Target B, sees 2 or 10 troop builders....why can't person A buy them? When the hell did we obtain a code of ethics on non-essential purchases? (ie - toys). Guess what, folks? You aren't the only one who likes what you like. This rampant sense of entitlement has really run it's course. Many of us can't find figures in stores (I don't have a clear wraith, either). But hell, if someone has the money and they like to troop build? By all means, buy 30 packs, take pictures and let me make pretend that the wicked army of Alley Vipers in front of me is mine. Knocking other people because they found more than you, bought more than you... really? |

I honestly dont have a problem with a person or people buying up all of something, they are within their rights and its not like they stole anything but I dont think its cool for those people to make fun of the people who missed their chance to get the item. Not that I even have a problem with that but it shows immaturity and it does kind of contridict the point of the tank, which is suppose to be sharing.

Knocking other people because they found more than you, bought more than you... If you want to buy $1000 worth of figures - more power to you. I just don't see the point - or the fun in it. But the fact of the matter is - it does frustrate the collecting community when people go overboard and hoard and re-sell on ebay. But whatever, so be it - I know thats just how it is... |

I got mine from the GIJCC, but you have to be a member to get a good price.

You can also order from Entertainment Earth. Although they'll take a little longer. My only complaint about Smalljoes is their shipping has gotten a tad steep. But then everyone's shipping is expensive nowadays. My biggest problem when ordering with online e-tailers is getting a large enough order to offset the shipping costs. My biggest complaint is the e-tailers charging double retail (or more) for army builders.
I have to say I sympathize with the Clear Wraith complaint. At the time the 25th was barely showing up retail, it just seemed the scalpers had a never ending supply of them for $40 and up. And they're still around at different places for that price (or more, usually). However, the regular Wraith was lacking (specifically the outsized P90s and fragile power cables.) so not having a clear one hasn't ended my Joe collecting. I decided that getting my ParaViper and BAT squads were more important to me than getting just 1 figure. Other people have different collecting calculus. |

Maybe I missed it - I didn't see that he was knocking anyone. I know I wasn't. I was just saying, "I can feel his pain".

And the clear wraith thing? There were 100 available, and we kept a count on how many were ordered by Tankers. And they sold out by the morning, with most ppl only ordering 1 or 2 (some ordered 10, but that was the exception, not the rule). Some ppl need to take a chillpill and relax. These are TOYS. |

Also, have to say I got my Wave 5 vehicles from Smalljoes, and was very pleased with them. I also ordered some comics and the extreme conditions packs with it to help offset the shipping, but all-in-all, very happy with their service and prices.
