Well i went to tru today & nothing as usual..Then i hit up a walmart i never go to and there they were...At first i thought it had to be a trick because we get jack here usually. As i walked up i saw them all literally falling off the shelf and as i looked through the stacks there were more and more. I was only going to buy about four but then said screw it i'll never in a million years see that many in one time or place so i grabbed them all.Total is three officers and seven troopers. So far i had seen two officers since series 1 came out so i was super jazzed to find these hanging around. I was able to get six troopers before this by luck thanks to the target re stock so these were also killer to see just hanging off the shelves. Made me feel like i was back in the day when there used to be figure after figure on the shelf. |

It's cool that you scored all those at one time. Now if you saw some other guy buy that many at one time would you be tempted to call him a scalper? I only ask this question because I read so much about it on here, and I was wondering why we quickly judge other customer's and their purchases. The fact that these have been rare to find on the shelf since they first came out, and if I saw some guy buying 7 of 1, 3 of another it would make me question his intent. I by no means am saying that you are like this. I can clearly tell you are troop building, hell I'd do the same thing if it were me that found that many just sitting there waiting to be bought. Anyone think they can answer this question of mine, thanks. Yo Joe!!!

Looks to me like a scalper returned them as they no longer make any money to pay their mom to live in their basement.
Either that, he got out of ebay what with the new fees. |

That's a similar scene from my house. I left a few troopers though. I saw full pegs and thought I'd hit the Wave 5 jackpot. A little letdown so I made the best of it and added 5 troopers and 3 officers to my army. I'm glad Hasbro added officers to another assortment because I hadn't seen them in store, previously.

I only really ever deal in vintage toys which to me is a different ballgame. Plus scalping new toys for ebay takes way too much time and little profit, when i can pick up a vintage joe at a flea market and get ten time what some new five dollar toy on walmart shelves is worth. Nothing new is rare and in the end is really going to make you anything in comparison to vintage toys. And yes i army build and these will get opened...In fact im half way through them now. |

Nice one, and Wal-Mart too, so you got the bargain basement price. The Cobra Officer for me was the hardest to find.
