We are voting on the bonus figure from each FSS this week!!! The winner last week was:
Crimson Guard Immortal I think we have posted our favorite FSS bonus figure over the years, but here is a poll to objectify "Who's the Best." I'm sorry to those of you that didn't sub for each FSS, and therefore, never had a chance to get these figures directly from the club. Too bad the club is no more, and there will be no more opportunities to get these figures directly from the club. Oh well. This week we have 2 Cobras, and 7 Joes. There are some real strong candidate this week, and some figures that make you say "Huh?!" Please note that I included Ninja Force Zartan as the Final 12 "Bonus" figure given that he was announced and made available at the same time as the other Final 12 figures. Please vote and comment on who is your Ultimate FSS - Bonus figure!!! Please also post who is your Best of the Worst figure. In case there is a tie for the least number of votes, we'll determine the Best of the Worst from the figure that has the most BOTW posts. Winners: 1st Figure - Psyche-Out (3.0) 2nd Figure - Repeater (3.0) 3rd Figure - Muskrat (3.0) 4th Figure - Big Boa (1.0) 5th Figure - Salvo (5.0) 6th Figure - Desert Scorpion (2.0) 7th Figure - Hit & Run (3.0) 8th Figure - Cesspool (2.0) 9th Figure - Bombstrike (3.0) 10th Figure - Keel-Haul (2.0) 11th Figure - Raptor (5.0) 12th Figure - Crimson Guard Immortal (3.0) Best of the Worst: 1st Figure - TF Shipwreck (2.0) 2nd Figure - Ice Viper Officer (7.0) 3rd Figure - Barricade (4.0) 4th Figure - Skull Buster (2.0) 5th Figure - SF Falcon (Final 12) 6th Figure - Lt. Clay Moore (8.0) 7th Figure - TF Blizzard (Final 12) 8th Figure - Inferno BAT (4.0) 9th Figure - TF Psyche-Out (Final 12) 10th Figure - Night Creeper Leader (3.0) 11th Figure - Black Spider GI Joe (Final 12) 12th Figure - Windmill (6.0)

I'm torn between Frostbite or TF Roadblock. And Banzai wasn't half bad either, but not as essential as the two '80s ARAH choices.
Worst: Close call between Carla Greer with her 'that looks like a penif' cart art, pandering G.I. Groan, and Hallow Point. I'll go with Carla for now but could be swayed. I don't think Zartan will be considered the worst, though he was expensive while the others were all "free". Even without him though, the Final 12 racked up the most Worst figures, which feels about right given what a disappointment that set was overall. Add in TF Tunnel Rat which sort of won the Worst of the 10th round with way more nominations than Night Creeper Leader, and it'd be a solid 5/12 Worst slots secured by the Final 12. Thanks Club! So we are at the end of each FSS, and finally made it to the bonus figures.
These figures did give me excitement because it was a "free," "mystery" figure!!! We were given clues for several of them, and for the most part, they were not spoiled until released. Here is my rundown: Black Out: When we got this figure, I had no idea who he was. I thought he was OK as he had a "new" head sculpt, and the build was good. When I learned about the Stall family story, I thought he was even better. After I learned that the head was not so new, I lost some love for this figure. He is a pretty good figure, but will not win this week. Red Pads Grand Slam: I think this was a total wasted choice by the club. I know he "completes" the OG13, but this build is just the most out-dated build for a figure released in 2014. He also was a slap in the face, because we just got this build in Bombardier. I normally do not get upset by "wasted" slots, but this figure is the "Ultimate" wasted slot, and the rage that he drew from the fans was well earned. Frostbite: The club made up for their mistakes from FSS 2.0 by giving us this figure!!! I think this is the best new head sculpt of all the FSS figures!!! And we got a newly sculpted fir collar secondary too!!! He also is a great update to a highly in-demand figure. That is why, this figure may be the best figure we ever got from the FSS's. Carla "Doc" Greer: I like the concept of this figure, and I like having another medical doctor on the Joes, but this head sculpt is just terrible!!! I hope some day, MTF comes out with a female head sculpt with a bun, just so I can replace the head some time in the future. GI Jane: Again, I like the fact that we got this figure, and we can pair her with Joe Colton. She just had poor execution with her parts. As you can see, I replaced the belt, white coat, and head. Now she looks great, and works very well when placed with Colton. She will not win this week, but will probably get more votes than Doc. TF Roadblock: This is a great figure with an awesome head sculpt!!! I just wish he wasn't TF Roadblock. I wish they used this build to give us a V1 looking RB. He and Duke were needing updates to their sorry 25th builds, and this build could have done the trick for RB. As you can see, I ended up modifying my TF RB so he would come close to the V1 look. All in all, this figure may give Frostbite, a run for his money. Hollow Point: This figure's code name should be "Who", because that is what most people said when they pulled him from the box. I do like this figure's build, and colors, but who the hell is this guy?!!! He's a knock off lego figure? A experiment from the Joe marketing team gone wrong? I don't know. I remember the club giving us the clue: "A Joe team member that hasn't had a modern release yet." I remember everyone getting excited for their favorites, and we get this guy? WTF. Even the factory didn't know who this guy was. They thought he was Hallow Point. Solid figure, but he will not win. Banzai: The club finished very strong with this figure. He is the last individual character of the Joe Ninja Force, and filled a hole for those of us that like Ninja Force. (I know we never got an official NF SE, but the Ret. 3 pack SE is close enough for me). I'm so glad we didn't get orange slice!!! I like this figure a lot because of the build too!!! Great job Bobby Vala!!! The combination of the parts and colors is just awesome!!! I know I was hoping for the SM Spirit head, but Bobby explained that it wasn't available when this figure was being made. None the less, his choice of this head is just awesome and I'm so happy to have this figure as part of my collection!!! Ninja Force Zartan: This is a very strong figure!!! The only parts that don't work for me are the lower legs. Too bad they couldn't use the Ren SE lower legs like the initial mock up pics showed. I guess they didn't work with the Ult. CC thighs. Oh well, he is still a great figure and he will get votes this week for sure. My winner for this week is Frostbite!!! He just a perfect figure, and probably the best FSS figure of all time!!! My best of the worst is hands down Red Pads Grand Slam. He is just a fail on all accounts, and especially for a bonus figure.

Frostbite will run away with this one, as he should.
Grand Slam easily for worst.

RB gets my vote, he’s just a really solid figure. Hollow Point is not, so he gets the worst vote.

Frostbite. Winner in a landslide. I’ll never forget his delay and the being “spoiled” by Con Tiger Force Frostbite. Great figure and happy to have him in my collection.
Worst figure: re-issue of 25th Grand Slam with red pads.
