Week 11 brings us to the final shipment we got from the club for each FSS!!! I remember being extra excited when I saw 2 boxes on my front porch!!! Luckily, the tape held together each time for me. Sorry to those that got only one box for FSS 5.0 or 6.0 (can't remember which one it was).
Last week's winner was: Keel-Haul The 11th figure from each FSS brings us 5 Joes (1 by way of the UK), 2 international figures, 1 Cobra, and 1 Adventure team figure. There are some very strong figures this week. I think it will be a close race between 3 figures this week. We shall see. Please vote and comment on who is your Ultimate FSS - 11th figure!!! Please also post who is your Best of the Worst figure. In case there is a tie for the least number of votes, we'll determine the Best of the Worst from the figure that has the most BOTW posts. Winners: 1st Figure - Psyche-Out (3.0) 2nd Figure - Repeater (3.0) 3rd Figure - Muskrat (3.0) 4th Figure - Big Boa (1.0) 5th Figure - Salvo (5.0) 6th Figure - Desert Scorpion (2.0) 7th Figure - Hit & Run (3.0) 8th Figure - Cesspool (2.0) 9th Figure - Bombstrike (3.0) 10th Figure - Keel-Haul (2.0) Best of the Worst: 1st Figure - TF Shipwreck (2.0) 2nd Figure - Ice Viper Officer (7.0) 3rd Figure - Barricade (4.0) 4th Figure - Skull Buster (2.0) 5th Figure - SF Falcon (Final 12) 6th Figure - Lt. Clay Moore (8.0) 7th Figure - TF Blizzard (Final 12) 8th Figure - Inferno BAT (4.0) 9th Figure - TF Psyche-Out (Final 12) 10th Figure - Night Creeper Leader (3.0)

Going with Raptor this round, but it was tough as I also thought Tundra Stalker and Bushido were worthy.
I see that FSS 3.0 had the most wins at 5. Pretty accurate, I considered that sub to have a lot of really good figures when compared to the rest.

There are some strong figures this week. Here is my rundown.
Barrel Roll: I like the Stall Family story, but this figure is terrible. The micro-cephalic head, and craniectomy helmet just don't work. I also don't like the colors. I learned that his initial release was in blue and grey. Does anyone want to trade or sell their ROC Air-Raid (see below)? I think I'm going to make a custom with the better colors. Dragonsky: I really like the use of parts, and coloring for this figure. I also really like that we got to add to our Oktober Guard collection!!! This is a strong figure, but I don't think he will win this week. Big Ben: Last week I listed my top 4 FSS head sculpts. This is number 5!!! Just a strong figure!!! The head sculpt, parts, colors, and accessories make this a damn near perfect figure. My only problem I have with him is who do I display him with? I think he is the only Joe not from the USA (correct me if I'm wrong), but I really want to display him with my Action Force figure collection. TF Sneak Peek: I almost kept this figure for the blue-jean shock trooper legs, but he got sold, when I decided to get rid of my repaint sub-teams. Raptor: I know many people love this figure, and he may win this week, but this figure is like Crystal Ball to me. I'm a Joe fan, a Cobra fan, an Atlanta Falcons fan, a Beastmaster movie fan, but I just don't understand this character. Throw in the limited knee articulation, and he was an easy sell off for me. Ghost Rider: I still have this figure MOC but I'm having reservations on opening him, vs. selling him. Pros: He would make a great addition to my Joe pilot collection. Cons: I know I'm never going to get a Phantom X 19 (it's too ugly for me). I have no nostalgia for this figure. I hate his head sculpt. It looks like Harry Shearer with a helmet on. Doh!!! I'm still undecided about keeping him. I do know that he will not be getting my vote this week. Tundra Stalker: I'm glad that I have another awesome figure to add to my Arctic Joe collection!!! I just can't figure out how to put that kayak together, and I can't get him in it. This may be the winner though, as many people like him. Bushido: Another solid figure!!! I love the new mask on that helmet, and the build is strong. I really like him for 2 reasons: We got closer to completing our Joe Ninja Force, and now we have a reason to keep our Ice Ninja Arctic Night Creepers!!! Black Spider GI Joe: I like the concept of this figure, but I had to totally change him to my liking. I think if he gets low enough on the club's discount sale, I may get a few extra for the hands and webgear. I think Big Ben, Raptor, and Tundra Stalker are the big 3 this week. My vote goes to Big Ben. Just a perfect figure!!! My best of the worst goes to Barrel Roll. Just a fail with the parts and disproportionate head.

The only real contenders this time around are Big Ben, Tundra Stalker, Raptor, and Ghost Rider. Unfortunately Ghost Rider's build is mediocre, so he's out.
Leaning Raptor because he's such a unique character and they captured it pretty well. Points for including his pet, as well, which is something often missed in modern era versions. Tundra Stalker suffers from clunky accessories and is a memorable toy from my youth but a mediocre figure in the grand scheme of things. Big Ben I don't recall much from my youth, I think he came out too late or just wasn't very popular. It's a decent figure build though. Worst is a toss-up. Probably the Final 12 Black Spider slot-waster is the most egregious and gets my vote, but Barrel Roll is a nobody from 2003, and Sneak Peek didn't exist in Tiger Force, so those were wasted slots as well. Bushido is pretty terrible build, Ghost Rider has a goofy head and some sortcuts in his build, and Dragonsky is like, okay, sure, check that box. Final 12's going to win the most Worsts awards and rightly so. It even kind of won last week with TF Tunnel Rat and is likely to win this week with another slot waster. Man this is tough. I'm torn between big Ben and raptor for best, and not really sure who is the worst. Sigh.

Best Raptor but I like them all except Black Spider.
Worst Black Spider for sure. I actually think he is the worst of the worst. |

Raptor for the win! Like Crystal Ball, this figure is ridonkulous, but fun nonetheless.
Big Ben, Dragonsky, and Ghost Rider were my follow-ups, with Tundra Stalker rounding out the top 5. Worst: Barrel Roll. As a former USAF security policeman, I really wanted to like this USAF special forces character (yes, they have a special force segment, too—Combat Controller), but the build sucks, the helmet is awful, and the color scheme is one of the most boring Joe offerings ever. So disappointed.

Side note: Ghost Rider just might have the best Club card art ever—I love it!
