I may have an unpopular vote this week. Here is my rundown:
Quarrel: She was the first FSS international figure we got, and I didn't think much of her then as she was just a 25th Scarlett repaint. As I gained more knowledge about Pallitoy Action Force figures, and as we got more and more Z-Force releases, her value to me has sky rocketed. She will not win this week due to the dated parts but she is not the best of the worst either. I remember seeing an MTF version of her. I may do that in the near future. Bombardier: I like the lore and story behind this "mystery" figure. I like that he's part of Action Force too. I just hate the 25th GS/Flash parts. I like my custom a lot better. The club Bombardier is actually V2. The initial prototype had different colors: IMO, these 25th parts are worse than Quarrel's parts. He may be the BOTW this week. Bombstrike: She is a strong figure!!! Her build, head sculpt and color are all top notch. Her being a Stall "family member" also is great, as she completes our collections further. She may be a winner this week for sure!!! Billy: Another strong "family member" here. I never read the comics, but I like the idea of this character. My only nit picks are the painted on shirt with weird collar, and that I had to change his webgear and belt, as the one he came with didn't work for me. I do like how they made him a little shorter, I guess to reflect his age a bit. Gaucho: I know this is unpopular, but I love this figure!!! Yes he is a repaint, and yes he is an international figure, but those are 2 of the reasons why he's so awesome. As stated above, I have grown to really like the Action Force figures, and was inspired by these FSS figures to make a whole ME collection of them: Gaucho is a repaint of the best ME figure that we have ever gotten at retail. How awesome is that!!! I really like that they changed the tattoo, as now it makes a lot more sense. Thank you club for this Gaucho!!! Vorona: I know she is a popular figure but I have 2 reasons why I sold her. 1. I was fortunate to get the OG set, and I really like that version of Daina much more than this. 2. I hate that 50th CO female torso and arms. I know they were trying to "asexualize" her, but this sculpt is a step back. It's worse than the out-of-proportion 25th female torso's we have. This figure may win this week, but she will not be getting my vote. Tomax: I'm glad we got this figure, as it didn't make sense to have a suited Xamot all by himself. I just wish this figure was sculpted at the same time as Xamot was. This head is just a little smaller than Xamot's. Also, the softer vest plastic on Tomax bothers me as the vest will not stay closed. I also don't like the MU Chameleon legs, as they pop off easily. Tomax should have also come with a wad of cash like his brother did. Again, I'm glad we got this figure, but he will not get my vote this week. Payload: I really like this figure as he is an essential figure to add to our collections, given that we got Hardtop already. I really like the use of the Data-Viper parts as they can pass as a space rover outfit. I really hate the use of the Data-Viper parts as they do not stay on the figure. AVAC's Payload kit can't get here soon enough!!!. If you can get the parts on, Payload does display very well: TF Psyche-Out: I know this figure is highly desirable for those Tiger Force and International fans, but I have no use of this figure what-so-ever. I'm happy for those of you that got to complete your TF and UK TF collections. This week was a little difficult, as Bombstrike and Gaucho are A+ figures. I just like Gaucho a little more. He gets my vote. This week's BOTW is difficult too. I hate Bombardier's parts, but I like his "mystery figure" journey. I have no use for TF Psyche-Out in my Joeverse. Because Bombardier came with that cool mini mobile missile launcher, he's safe this week. TF Psyche-Out is my BOTW.

Bombstrike: good figure, but that head had to be painted just right, or it looked off; should have been molded in flesh color. It didn’t work for me, and I sold it off and made my own MTF version.
Billy—wanted this character forever, but not THIS version. A few poor parts choices as well (torso/web gear), and I decided to stick with ninja custom version I had previously made. Now, I kind of want him, but NOT at his current ridiculous price; will probably make a custom eventually. Vorona—love this figure, and kept her. However, it’s her 2nd Club figure, so she won’t win my vote. Tomax—like the pic I posted, I actually really like him posed with the mirror. Tough choice here, buuut... Payload—winner! Crappy, crappy helmet...but by simply adding an American flag from Duke, an Ace harness, and a cast helmet with chrome visor, I am in love with this Club version! Bombardier sucks the most. |

I love this picture and dio, but that is FSS 5.0 Xamot in that picture. We are voting on FSS 7.0 Tomax this week. Your picture does show why Tomax will probably not win this week. The FSS 7.0 Tomax is just not as cool as the FSS 5.0 Xamot.

This is the toughest vote yet! I went with Billy in a very narrow win over Payload.

Most of these figures don’t have any emotional meaning to me; very few ARAH figures here and I never came close to ever having Payload and the Defiant. Just picking on how the figure looks I would say Vorona. I almost kept her even though I have no other OG members. The 50th Shooter torso may not be the best but the other parts choices were great, the head sculpt is one of the best female heads of the ME, and the colors/camo really appealed to me. In the end I did sell her (and a lot of the other figures this week). They were going for quite a lot and helped me get some figures I wanted more.
For the worst I’ll say Bombardier. All of the international repaint figures are a giant waste of FSS slots, but the others have better parts or at least decent colors.

My favorite this wee is the Payload the figure looks amazing.
My least favorite this week is the Tiger Force Psyche Out. Never been a fan of the Tiger Force. |

I think it may be a cast of a 1:18 Neil Armstrong figure...
