We are in week 8, and are almost two thirds of the way done. The winner in a landslide of the Ultimate FSS - 7th figure is:
Hit & Run This week we have an even number of Joes and Cobras; and one from another faction. Does the outsider have a chance of winning? Lets pool our votes together and see who wins. Please vote and comment on who is your Ultimate FSS - 8th figure!!! Please also post who is your Best of the Worst figure. In case there is a tie for the least number of votes, we'll determine the Best of the Worst from the figure that has the most BOTW posts. Winners: 1st Figure - Psyche-Out 2nd Figure - Repeater 3rd Figure - Muskrat 4th Figure - Big Boa 5th Figure - Salvo 6th Figure - Desert Scorpion 7th Figure - Hit & Run Best of the Worst: 1st Figure - TF Shipwreck 2nd Figure - Ice Viper Officer 3rd Figure - Barricade 4th Figure - Skull Buster 5th Figure - SF Falcon 6th Figure - Lt. Clay Moore 7th Figure - TF Blizzard

This is a crappy set for the most part but it did give us Sneak Peek in his v1 colors, so I've got to choose him, even though that guy Mr Hebime posted is probably a cooler build. We needed Sneak Peek for ARAH completeness.
Inferno BAT is definitely the worst. Such a cheap, phoned-in slot filler. |

There is a an "Oldie but Goodie" in this group. I think this may be another landslide win this week, and the difficult decision may be the Best of the Worst. Here's my breakdown:
Iron Klaw: I liked this figure when we got him even though I knew nothing about him. This is our first SKAR figure from the GI Joe Extreme line. I like this figure a lot, but I hate limited articulation in my ME Joes. Thus, I can't vote for this figure. Cesspool: Again, I knew nothing about the Eco-warriors and their enemies, but this figure is one of the best FSS figures we have gotten!!! The head sculpt is awesome, and the build with the existing parts is spot on!!! And we get more 1/18 scale cash with this figure. There is one on this list that almost rivals this figure, but I don't know if he's strong enough to beat Cesspool. Alpine: I really like this figure as we got a new head sculpt and we got another use out of Kwinn's legs. I'm glad this wasn't as popular overall, as I was able to get another one at low cost, to make a V1 custom with this head sculpt. I was able to use the torso for a Crankcase custom too. Overall, this is a strong figure. Inferno BAT: There are a lot of reasons why I should like this figure: 1. I like ME BATS 2. I've enjoyed the 8 other different ME BATS we have gotten 3. It comes with a sword attachment. Unfortunately, the legs on this figure are garbage. He is way shorter than the rest of the ME BATS, and those foot holes do not fit the foot pegs on his stand. I wish they would have given us the usual 25th BAT legs in that translucent red (Hey castors, anyone have translucent red 25th thighs, knees, lower legs, feet and knee pegs? If so, please PM me). Sneak Peek: This is a solid figure in that it has Airborne's helmet, and a POC Shock Trooper body. It even has a seldom seen ROC Thunder webgear!!! I just have no nostalgia for this figure, and carrying around a huge periscope doesn't make much sense to me. Could you imagine a spectator at a golf tournament with this periscope? Just ridiculous. Guillotine: Wow!!! What a figure!!! We got a new head, mask, and sword!!! This is basically a sleeveless POC SE. You can't go wrong with those parts. The only criticism I have is why did we get a figure with a new head sculpt and a new mask? Both are great to look at, and it gives me a conundrum on how to display him. I guess, I'll display him as above when alone, but with the mask on, in a diving dio. General Hawk: I know there was a lot of anticipation with this figure, and disappointment when we got the Funskool colors. He also fails in that his webgear and belt harness do not fit on him. I like the figure parts enough to keep him in my collection. He is now the airborne trooper of my ME Eco-warriors. He will not win this week though. Over Kill: I remember first seeing this figure at Kay Bee Toys when I was looking for toys for my step-sons in the early 2000's. I didn't mind the look then, and I don't mind the look now. I like the combo of parts, and how they stayed true to this version of Over Kill. I know this version is not popular, but they tried to do a mini tribute to Version 1 by giving us the translucent yellow robot skull. I don't know why I haven't posed him with my ME BATs yet. I'll get around to it I guess. TF Hit & Run: The parts are great, and he will make good fodder for a custom someday. I decided long ago that I didn't need the repaint sub-teams, so this figure doesn't need to be part of my collection. I had to get him though as I wanted a TF Blizzard for an action force custom. I haven't decided on what to do with his parts yet, but I'm sure I'll get around to a custom at some point. This week it's a tough decision between Cesspool and Guillotine. Both have new head sculpts, great builds and awesome accessories. Cesspool's head sculpt wins out though. I'm voting for Cesspool. I have another tough decision between Inferno BAT and Gen. Hawk for BOTW. I hate those Ret. Storm shadow lower legs on the Inferno BAT, and nothing fits on General Hawk. You can display Gen. Hawk to hide the non-fitting webgear, but you can't hide how short Inferno BAT is. Therefore, I'm voting Inferno BAT as my Best of the Worst.

It was a toss up of Iron Klaw and Guillotine for me. I opted for my favorite character of the two.

Best was an easy decision for me as I only have one of these figures in my collection: Sneak Peek v1.
The worst is tough. Several of theses are just “meh” to me for one reason or another, but I’ll go with Inferno BAT. That is one figure I don’t think the club should have ever made since its spot could have gone to a different character and few would have missed it. Plus it showcases the club’s lousy over complicated parts selection (not using normal BAT legs) and lack of long term planning (should have used the v2 BAT head they ended up sculpting for a convention set).

Cesspool the best, followed by Iron Klaw and Guillotine.
Worst is Hawk, although I hate that “Alpine” head!

I had to go with Sneak Peek. A much needed ARAH update. Call it the sentimental vote.
Guillotine & Cesspool both very good figures and worth consideration.
