I'm pleased that the quality of the figures are for real. For the most part they aren't using any cheap plastic.

These toys are fine, hoping it will get kids into GI Joe more, then Hasbro could do something like Star Wars, Clone Wars=ROC for the kids and still make old school stuff for us, oh well I'm close to beng done anyway...Come on Zap!

I'm really enjoying the modern twist to the mythos with the more subdued colors. Don't get me wrong, I will always dig the 25th line and the OG color schemes; but the ROC stuff is easily just as cool for my taste. Hasbro definitely stepped it up with the figure details.

I believed from the get go that the ROC was going to incorporate characters and figures from Joe lines past, but even I'm surprised at some of the inclusions that have been made. The two biggest so far in my opinion being the Rage and SNAKE Armor.
I thought Hasbro would recycle 25th/ME figures into this new line, and they are just starting to do that now with these new Target exclusives. What's got me really excited about this prospect is that figures and vehicles I passed on during the 25th run I'll be more inclined to pick up in this line. Why? Simple - color choices.
First two major examples would be the Target CLAW and SNAKE. I'd much rather have these vehicles in black then white, and I'm hoping that we even see the Rattler again in black.
Also I wouldn't mind seeing some army builder COBRA troop packs of the Modern Era Viper, Alley-Viper and Resolute Trooper in darker colors as well.
So, yes I'm sure the ROC line will have something to offer to everyone in the Joe fanbase, even the hardliners, it's just a matter of being patient.

i see the line becoming more like star wars. im sure eventually we will see some kind of merging of the ROC/25th/possible new figs into one series or several series ie.. clone wars, saga collection. like star wars we will probably see a line that incorporates characters from different era's. it has worked for star wars it can work for gi joe.
i think that made sense?..

Like others have said, we've already seen or been told about 25th/ME figures under the ROC name. Characters like Thunder(blast), Heavy Metal (Rampage) and Monkeywrench are just the beginning.
