Personally, I've picked up a few RoC The Doctor figures to use a cadre of demented Cobra scientists. I put gas masks on some, ala Psycho Mantis, and change some of the details between them (e.g. jacket on, jacket off, toupee on, toupee off, breather on, breather off, etc.).
I'm curious as to what other "unique" figures you like to use as troop builders. |

Back in ROC days, I used to pick up extra ROC figs that had a basic fatigues to have Joe support / administrative staff types (Cover Girl, Scarlett in ROC fatigues, ROC Zartan, Breaker, Sgt. Stone). This was totally great when the ROC waves were on the final Target clearance; I recall getting a few at like 88 cents!

I think PoC Hawk was my first non-traditional troop builder. I have two which were added as part of my 6 man Steel Brigade team. There's no way he's Hawk anyways.

If you look at my collection, you would have to assume Snake Eyes, Cobra Commander, and Duke were my choices.

It would have to be DG Duke and Shipwreck.
Conversely, I made a troop builder a specific character with the scarred Cobra Officer as Scarface from the old Marvel run.

My guess is that Naja Empire will NOT say Serpentor.
For me though, I wouldn't say I "troop build" him, but I love picking up multiples of Cobra Commander. |
