I found an un-opened "Dreadnok Doom Cycle" in my storage. Rec'd it as a joke gift for Christmas, circa 2010, and never touched it. I "researched" it on eBay and saw it listed for $145...?!! Is this considered rare?

Never consider a listing price as the value of something on ebay.

To get a good idea of the current market value check the sold prices.

The last 2 moc sold were for $60 plus shipping. That would be a more accurate value of the item.

I wouldn't consider it rare because it was a retail item. It might be a bit HTF, but not rare.

It's always been really expensive for some reason though. I never owned the cycle cause it was too expensive back then as I didn't get it when it showed up for retail. I only got the figure.

The figure is what makes this set expensive. He goes for double if not more loose than a loose doom cycle. Everyone buys the set and dumps the cycle.

I remember auctioning off the driver and was shocked at the final price I got for him... so shocked that I threw in the cycle for free haha.

Yes, but the only sold "in box" Doom Cycle I currently see is one for $80, plus $10.40 s/h, from November 20. Some loose cycles, though, in the $40-60 range.

I think the guy selling it for $145, currently, is unreasonable. It's been listed for a few weeks with no movement. I think I'll start mine in the $60 range and see what happens with bids and/or "Buy it Now".

The one that sold for $59.99 "in box" sold Jan 13

If you look at the current selling ones there is one at $71.00 at auction. It ends tomorrow. Keep an eye on this one. This will give you the best idea of what you might get.

That was one of the best sets I’ve seen come out. It was probably the reason I got into collecting. I picked up a couple 25rh, but most were unimpressive. Once I saw that, it was all downhill from there.
