You do realize that you just pretty much described a competitive business plan right? "Don't hate the player, hate the game."

Only if you advocate that behavior and have no company values sure. You can stand up and allow it to happen and just accpet and call it "competitive" or you can watch it all eventually go away and the government will en dup owning all of it anyway when they all apply for government aid in the next 2 years. Capitolism does not work when you have monopolies and sub standard services and products just to give you a lsightly lower (or higher) price. Walmart is just a bad buisness that needs to go away imop.

Yeah, I like the way you're thinking. But isn't that illegal?

I think it's so they can mark it down later and make everyone think they are getting a good deal.

They do limit the amount of items returned in this manner. What is it now, 3 times a year, per ID card/driver's license? Immoral? maybe. Abuse of the system? sure. Sticking it to the big evil faceless corporation? definitely. Illegal? no way. |

What's illegal about it? Walmart's policy allow you to make returns with no receipt for credit. They dont state anywhere that all returns must be items originally purchased at a Walmart store.

Unfortunately, people petitioning Wal-Mart over GI Joe sales isn't going to hurt them one bit, they're one of the biggest corporations in the world and not hurting one bit right now.
They do suck immensely, and won't be getting my business so long as Target's still in business, cleaner and not crowded like a cattle truck, but they've got plenty of business for years to come. |
