I was able to get a Dragonhawk recently for less than original MSRP, so by that metric, I'm a fan of it.

I just couldn’t get over the size and the stubby cannon.

I like the Dragonhawk...I do wish it had been in a bit larger scale coptor but its a solid look.
As it is it reminds me more of an updated Locust. |

At first I didn't like it and left it on the shelves of Walmart many times. After I got the Joecon version, I had to get it then. Too bad it was long gone from retail and I had to go secondary market for it. I had no clue that the Dragonhawk Wild Bill has a bigger head when compared to the 25th WB.

Yes, the helifighter is basically the Dragonfly with a "tab" on a one or both pylons for the obligatory spring action launcher of the time. Also, it didn't include the original missiles but, contrary to the box art, did have the side/skid cannon.

Yeah, but it uses the original chin cannon that elevates as well I wish it were the later versions that only swivel, cause you can stick the figure's feet into the chin cannon.

I like the Dragonhawk. I recently got one on Ebay for a decent price (they’re not readily available unless you’re willing to spend $50-60/avg.), and I do like it. It is waaay undersized, unfortunately, but it’s still a nice little helo.

This is a great topic. At first the lack of a 2-person cockpit bothered me. But when I bought this toy all those years ago ( 9! ) it really grew on me. I like using it as an escort, or reconnaissance patrol vehicle. I envision them escorting Tomahawks, or a ground convoy. I absolutely loved the Locust from 1990, and the 1984 Skyhawk. For me the Dragonhawk is a great amalgam of the two.
