It’s easy enough to find all the unique vehicle markings through searches of sticker sheets, but is there anywhere that collects the art of the unique designs made for the figures? Either vintage or modern. A lot of these were so small, but it’s these tiny details that make the line stand out. And I know some were borrowed from the actual military, but I think the majority were specially made by the designers at Hasbro.
Quickly looking through a few modern figures, Heavy Metal had a 3 inside two circles. Footloose had a red 4-leaf clover. Lady Jaye had a 3-leaf clover inside a shield. Wet-Suit had a red flying fish. Tunnel Rat had an inverted red triangle with a bar across the top and a black banner inside. Beach-Head had the 75th Rangers patch. Spirit had a tomahawk inside a circle. Various figures used odd chevron arrangements. It would be really cool to see the pre-production designs, or even whatever was used at the factory during the paint application process. My initial searches on-line haven’t turned up anything though.

I always wanted to make a unit of Vipers with a unit flag of the Snake with the quote "Dont Tread on Me" My weird sense of ironic humor.
