I was trying to fix a very used ROC Scarlett's very loose hip joints with the super glue trick when I encountered a problem.
No matter what I try, I simply can't get one of her legs to snap all the way back together. It's not a huge seam, but it's noticeable and it's strange because the leg was perfectly tight before. Is this a common issue? I was very excited at how easy it was to get the legs off and apart, how effective super glue was (Pledge was a bit of a failure, which surprised me). But if the legs won't always click back tight, then I'm not really going to try this again on figures like Cobra Commander that are harder to replace. Thanks! |

Sometimes there is a extra shim inside the leg at ball end of the T joint, this might have come loose and moved??? All I can think of just now.

The lip of the top of the leg, like a small plastic cup that encircles the ball joint can become too big to fit in the socket of the other half of the leg. Gently squeeze it smaller to see if that helps it fit

I will try to look at that cup when I get home.
I'll be disappointed if I can't figure it out because I was really looking forward to easily fixing the joints on a few other figures. |

Yeah loose joints suck. I use gorilla tale on ball joints and super glue on loose t-bars

How do people fix loose mid-torso joints?
The figure doesn't come apart there, right? |

http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...st-method.html Part of the joint is in the lower torso, so you may have to crack that open instead. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/5081359-post189.html
