Has anyone else seen this figure. I bought one when Toys R Us had the sale 2 figures for about $10.00. I recently went into Toys R Us, different location, and saw a ROC Snake Eyes with a White Timber. Has anyone else seen this? Is this like the Black Timber 25th figure? If so what a great find. I do have pics if needed. but it is the exact same figure as the regular Snake Eyes. Let me know. Thanks.

This is a thread somewhere else, but I think that there is no fact based evidence as to which one, if any, is a "variant"

I have the black one, people have claimed to see lots of both. The Grey one appears to be everywhere internationally, where as we had the black one early, and it now appears that they grey one is making it to our shelves more commonly. I might appear that the black is the rare of the two.

I've only seen the black versions to date, at three different stores (and seen a dozen on the pegs). If anything, it would seem the grey version is the "chase" variant. Comparing pictures, the ROC grey looks nearly identical to the Hall of Heroes/final boxset Timber.

The black one was produced earlier than the gray one so I gather the black wolf will soon be hard to find and become a true variant.
Hasbro is trying to recreate the hysteria created by the 25th anniversary black wolf but this time they created more of the black wolf which lead people to believe it was easier to find. Just to be sure, someone in my area raided all the TRU black wolves to be ready for the coming shortage. Thanks, whoever you are...

I speculate like the others that the black one will be the least common. Call it a variant, call it a chase, call it a running change, call it whatever, I'm keeping one of each MOC until the dust settles

Hasbro said in one of their last Q&A sessions that they are actively producing variants, chases, running changes, or whatever term we prefer to use in this line. We've already seen the wolf, the Pit Commando, and the Firefly helmet in the drop ship. I wonder what else is coming down the line...?
