Hey Guys,
just dug out my Dreadnoks to display in my room and Burnouts torch hose broke? I'm bummed pretty bad! Anyone had this happened on either Torch or BurnOut? I know its plastic and it will weaken over time, but I like having his original equipment. Would anyone know if super glue would hold or fix it? If not, I thought about finding another torch or another BurnOut figure for a replacement equipment all together. Here's the odd thing, I feel he don't need a torch or looks right with it? Weird I know, but Gunrunners has a flame-thrower that looks good and that may be my alternative or a pump shot gun of a different sort. If anyone had ideas, let me know. Thanks |

I hated Torch's hose. Same with Tripwire's. They are too stiff to be able to pose. What I did was cut them so there is a stump left and I put the black tube style hoses that other Joes use and then plug that into the stump and the other end onto the connector. Hope that makes sense.
That's what I did on my Tripwire. The black tube hose connects to a stump of the original cable that I left for it to plug into. The other end where the cable connects to the backpack, I cut that and left a stump as well and put the hose over that so it can plug into the backpack.

I did the exact same thing for my Extreme Conditions desert flamethrower trooper. The hose broke almost right out of the box. Snip the ends of the hose off, connect them with a rubber hose from Smalljoes, and better than new. My Burn-Out's hose hasn't broken yet, but I imagine it will eventually; when it does, it'll get the same treatment.

WOW! Thanks for response guys! I was wondering where to get the hose from, but Smalljoes.com has the hose? I'll check them out. Good thing is, how and where the torch broke is right in the middle of the hose itself, so that leaves plenty of extra material to snip off and use a rubber hose.
Thanks again everyone! HissTank is great as always!!! |
