Agreed. Some of the non movie figs might find their way into my collection, and probably some of the vehicles. But I just don't like the look of the movie designs.

I actually think the figures look fine. I think it is the packaging that is keeping me from going shopping cart filling crazy like last time. The classic black cards with the white lettering, American flag and explosion are like a nostalgic drug. The first time I saw those classic cards the memories and feelings they brought back were almost euphoric. It almost felt like they re- released them just for me. These new packages look just like a lot of other movie toys that have come out, they just don't tug at the heart strings of my youth.

$40 for me (5 figures), but that will climb... i actually should make a list of what I really 'need' versus what I can do without.

Man. Some of you cats have spent more than I do on groceries in a week. Looks like some good hauls though. I'm glad to see some of you guys supporting this. I'm just going to cop some Alley and Range vipers from overseas and keep working on a few 25th figures, mainly embossed logos.
I'm still at $0 and plan on keeping it that way. I'm not too keen on this line. |

Tonight, I went to TRU and saw the new stuff for the first time. I bought 5 figures for 41 dollars and some odd cents.
These figures are a lot better than I had feared. I'm excited, but I know it's going to cost. I'm hopeful that they will be available for a long time so it won't hurt so bad all at once.

Chalk up another 25.00 for Batman. I found 3 more Figs at Target tonight. Went to TRU and they had 4 Pits! The more I see em, the more I am tempted! I even picked it up 3 times while I was there!! Damn you Hasbro!! I don't have 100.00 for this damn thing!!

I have spent abought $125. I wasn't planning on buying that much but I am really surprised how much I like this stuff. Cobra gunship and the Hummer vehicle are my faves. TRU exclusive Firefly is really cool as well.

Ive picked up 19 different figures, 2 Steel Crushers and the PIT. It all started with a Paris Snake Eyes, bought it as a kinda half joke with my son(I had some as a kid in the early 80's)...started looking around online and saw all this stuff. Were having a blast, PIT is in the basement until XMAS though, I didnt tell him about it(or my wife). Im not sure I can hold out that long lol...
