Mine are FFS Cover Girl and both SDCC Sgt. Slaughters figures. I've learned to live without the Sarge, but Cover Girl is a constant want. Too expensive for my blood though. I should have pulled the trigger when she was first released.

To be honest, you can kitbash a better one with MTF parts and Walking Dead Andrea jacket. (or a casted one from Cover Girl.)

Did they make a 1:18 Andrea or are you using the jacket from the six-inch figure or something?

The 6 inch jacket is small enough to fit 1:18, IIRC someone used it on a Cover Girl... or another Joe.

You got a point there, maybe I'll give that a try. Thanks for the advice!

Due to reading volume 5 of 3D Joes' Collecting the Art of GI Joe series, I am starting to get progressively more obsessed with the later era vintage Joes. 1990 already holds a special place in my heart, but now I am finding myself scoping out Battle Corps and DEF figures on eBay. I'm even starting to appreciate the springloaded launchers thanks to comments from Kirk Bozigian regarding the evolution of the line. Hrrrn.

For awhile, it was SDCC Zarana. I eventually got tired of looking for one loose at a more reasonable price. Truth be told, that was pretty much the end of my interest in 25th or modern era figures as well. If I was going to spend any sizable amount on a figure, it was going to be a vintage one, not stuff that just came out as rare because of limited number. Although I occasionally pick up something new, I personally find vintage collecting much more satisfying.
