Me too. I always want to pull the trigger, but it's just too much. The sad thing is that is probably the best price out there for that set.

The struggle is real. There are so many I say I'm going to buy, but just can't pull the trigger. Example/FSS Jinx-I just can't for the life of me justify the price when I have 3 other versions. There are plenty of others. Pythona, Cover Girl, Quarrel, Big Boa, Top Side- can't count the number of times I said I'm going to buy topside only to get side tracked and buy something else.

I really like the footloose from Funpub. It’s about the only one I really like. I will never like him enough to spend $100 though. There is no 3.75” figure ever worth spending that kind of money on. I know some disagree, but it’s your money, not mine.
My mistake...$200. What a joke....

We all have them. Figures it’s driving us nuts not to have. We look at pictures... but can’t pull the trigger for whatever reason. Presently, I really want a 50th Gung Ho. The only one on eBay is $30. I could care less about the Shadow Guard. Will I pay it.... *sigh* on payday if he’s still there. For not, he taunts me. Anybody else have these obsessions?

SDCC 2013 Baroness, haunted me for over three years, till I finally gave in last year. I have my principles if it comes to prices for a single figure, but I still paid around 60€uros for her, while usually not paying more than around 30€ for a figure. Hard enough for a buyer from europe.

My problem is that I have acted on those obsessions over the years. I have done every FSS just in case I would pine over a figure later. I also acted pretty early for the Joecon figures that I wanted. I'm glad I did as the prices I paid were lower than what they go for now.

W.O.R.M.S.
A comic book shop by me had Heavy Metal and his tank about 3 years ago (with the mic) for $50, which I snatched up. But knowing the deal I was getting, I felt bad and let them know their complete W.O.R.M.S. figure that they had for $13 could easily sell for twice that. Several times I went back and passed on him and his new price of $25 because he was a low priority for me then, but right about the time I decided I wanted him, he must have sold.

I know exactly what you guys are saying. And as soon as we pluck one off the list, there’s always 2 or 3 more to take its place. Ever had this experience, where you didn’t even “know” you wanted an item until you saw a review or something on it? Like general joes’ reviews, or on YouTube, or someone posting pics of something. For me, I’m glad a lot of the convention and club stuff uses existing parts (mostly), because then not only is it 100 plus dollars for an action figure, but also it’s for a non accurate version. That makes it all the easier to not get them or even want them. When you talk about hobbies (collecting joes or otherwise), some people say “if it makes you happy” but does clicking off items on a want list just to add 2 or 3 more to it really make anybody happy? I guess that’s an unfair question because happiness (though very real) doesn’t come from seeking and getting what you want. It seems to come from a different direction altogether.

Well I guess my "Grail" would be a boxed 1984 Zartan, in reasonably good condition, which I'd eventually want to get an AFA-style acrylic case for. But I'm kind of saving it for last, there's about 10 figures and a few vehicles I want to get first. I figure it will set me back about 500, so it will probably be my most expensive Joe purchase.
