Yeah? Thats a bummer.
I opened the Desert Ambush Duke last night and I was amazed with how CHEAP the figure felt, compared to the EEL's and Elite Vipers and Flash and just about every other figure from RoC I have, Desert Duke was cheesy and cheap and poorly painted and just a waste. It's sad because he was my most "anticipated" figure. I returned my extras of him today. The PIT Commando's backpack is also really cheesy and does not stay on ANYONE well, which is a small letdown.

Dang, I heard he was really short compared to the other figures? Now I am curious [/QUOTE]
Which one did you hear was the short pack figure? Firefly? I don't believe you're in the minority regarding the blue paint and I agree with you. I like the blue on Shipwreck because it seems like an aquatic camo. The rest of this stuff with all the blue and black....well that's what turned me off of the line initially. I haven't gone against that initial "sigh" either. All of my figures I think would fit perfectly in the Joe realm that I appreciate and enjoy. Ice Viper, looks like a regular Cobra decked out in arctic gear and not just a Snow Serpent repaint....purchase. SE, okay well come on they are mostly all going to be black but there isn't a lame blue version that I broke down and bought. I almost, and still might, pass on the regular movie version. The PP however, oh yeah....purchase. Firefly, RES, 'nuff said.....purchase. Baroness is true to the original figure (not hard to be of course) and I'm still back and forth here. Might return her but for now....purchase. |

I meant the Ice Viper was rumored to be short in stature compared to the other figures
And yeah Shipwreck/Deep Six is fine. If these all make it to the bargain bin somehow I'll pick up every last Blue-camo'd figure to make a Naval Ops Logistics Team. But only on the cheap

I haven't bought any vehicles yet because I have a feeling a lot of these are going to be in the clearance section someday. I don't see any of these toys just flying off the shelf. |

The other Baroness' at the store had the glasses partially coming off so I figured they must detach somehow. He looks pretty good with some shades. Of course....now I would have a Baroness w/o glasses...hmmm. |
