For a fully functional, modern era Whale, I’d pay $150 to $200. Perhaps this Sum
Is more feasible to the stingy Joe community and it can be bumped down to a 2000 person goal. Their profit margin would still be phenomenal. Nobody mentioned the thought of included figures...who would they be...besides the obvious Cutter of course?

I am going to try to back this thing. I am a Star Wars collector too, so it's of interest to me. Although I mostly only collect the fighters, X-Wings and TIE Fighters that sort of stuff. I have a bunch of stuff that I've put off selling for a couple of years now just because I hate all the ebay and paypal fees.
It'll be tight trying to save for JoeCon and get the Sail Barge too, but I'll part with everything I can stand to part with. If it means there is a chance Hasbro could starting using this for GIJoe vehicles, then I feel I gotta try to support it. The deadline is in April so that should be plenty of time to save up for it. |

Retool the Super Helicarrier into a Cobra Helicarrier. Add Two extra sections (rather than one extra) and rework the struts to have a functional lower level. Wouldn't be too hard. What would be a reasonable price point? 250? 300?

Interesting idea.
BUT I honestly think getting any sort of Haslab Joe item is a long shot. SW simply has a MASSIVE fan base and cash influx that makes this sorta project possible. And Joe? Well what can I say as much as I love Joe we currently don't even have product. I mean not even DTC stuff. Granted I'm not saying its impossible. I think it would take the Jabba barge doing really well, and the Joe 2020 film getting a massive push (and maybe doing really well) to get anything Joe from Haslab. And then probably not the scale of a FLAGG. Personally I'm ok with that...I have a FLAGG its too big...way too big. I can't even display mine. But again if we are talking whats possible I doubt getting a modern version that is the same size as the ol coffee table is what would happen. Maybe the proposed Resolute Flagg. But overall I'd prefer to see a new mold on a WHALE. I think its a better risk. Certainly more affordable for them to produce and us to buy. Those making it both more appealing to them and us. And a WHALE mold could be reused. Right off the bat I can see us getting a regular version, and the Night Force version. And it wouldn't be surprising to see it re-purposed for say Python Patrol or Tiger Force. Yes I'd love to see Haslab used for Joe...but I think its a long shot and I doubt it would be for a FLAGG. |

I would love to see the Coyote get a release through something like this. Sure, it would be more than it would have been at retail, but 100ish dollars would be reasonable for what it is.

Someone please start a petition for a Cobra transport helicopter. It's a fairly small vehicle, so it would be far from $500 a piece, possibly less than $100. And seriously, who hasn't wanted one of these ever since the 80s?

If we are going to pay much more, than it had better be for something new and worth it. Not just for something I can purchase on eBay.
I would rather Hasbrolab crowdfund the creation of a Cobra Sky-Crane (Sikorsky CH-54 Tarhe twin-engine heavy-lift helicopter with detachable troop pod module). This item would be more affordable than the Star Wars barge they are selling now. Quote:
We would probably need a few thousand of us to actually get Hasbro to listen and even consider this idea. Baby steps…
