Well my luck seems to have changed as I went out to TRU today and actually found the Steel Crusher A.P.V.
Being in Canada we didn't see enough of the 25th/Modern line so although I am not going to buy a lot of the ROC line, there are a few figs I will be happy to pick up. For 35.00 (CAD) its a pretty cool vehicle. It seats two figures in the front with both the drivers side and passenger doors able to open fully. On the front you have the Iron Plow (like a trains cow catcher) which looks cool, but is also removable for those who like the straight up Hummer look. The roof slides forwards revealing a hidden missile launcher. For those of you who are still against the missile launchers this is a great feature to keep it hidden. When the roof is pushed completely forwards it will lock into place and there is a flip down windshield armor which just looks completely badass! Also the passenger can stand through a roof hole and shoot those pesky Joes when the roof is slid all the way forwards and the armor is down. The missile launcher itself is decent. It had a 360 degree turn radius and comes with 3 projectile missiles which have their own storage stand, a nice little add-on. The space surrounding the missile launcher can also be used for weapon storage and is easily accessible when you push the launcher down. On the rear doors they each have a fold down hidden missile. They aren't spring loaded so you'll have to use your imagination with these ones. The wheels are actually rubber on a plastic rim. It rolls quite nicely imo. The downfall to this great vehicle is the lack of trooper and cargo space. Unfortunately due to the missle launcher's hidden compartment the trunk does not open. It would have been nice to be able to open it up like the front doors and put some extra armaments in there. Also the back doors do not open. If Hasbro had made the vehicle .5-1inch longer they easily could have had two more seats in this thing and I feel that that is the biggest draw back here. The sitckers are good, I feel that they are better than some of the other decal sheets we have received from Hasbro recently. Overall I would give this vehicle an 8.5/10 I am thoroughly impressed with it, but with the lack of trooper space to make room for the missile launcher knocks it down. Nitro-Viper (Motor-Viper) is a pretty basic 25th/modern figure. His ipper torso and arms (upper and lower) are from the HISS Tank Driver. The upper legs are from the Viper's and the lower legs I believe are a new mold indicitive of the OG figure. The vest as well is a new mold with the hoses molded on but it is molded in just the dark blue color with the cobra sigil on the right breast plate. The head/helmet is a new mold with a clear visor that folds up and down. I feel that Hasbro could have done a better job with this figure if they were a big more creative. First and foremost the visor should be silver like the production photos we saw, not clear. Also it would have been nice to get a removable helmet for this guy. The upper arms clearly should have been Zartans as well as the upper legs. For a company that endlessly reuses parts a little thought a creativity would be nice. Perhaps they felt they would leave it up to the fans to customize him as we have already been doing. All in all he is a decent figure to have and he'll fit right into your collection. With a few paint aps and some part swaps you'll have a genuine Motor-Viper in no time. Overall I will give this figure an 8/10 the lack of imagination with some parts is a sticking point, but the fact that we actualyl got this figure with the correct boots and vest, and even the head to an extent keeps him high on the scale.

I wasn't really interested in this, but after your review and description of some of the features, I kind of like it.
Still not a fan of the figure, the helmet is too bulky.

Cool Review, I can't wait for this. My little guy wants it for his birthday. I'm sure daddy will have to make sure it is good for him.
