Hi guys
I've been thinking about joining the Joe Club in order to be able to get the FSS 6.0 figures. But not being a member already(ie not being able to post on the club forum), i find it kind of hard to find the info i'm looking for. First off, can you still order the FSS 6.0 figures, or is it too late? I'm not shelling out $92 for an international membership, if i can't order the figures. Second, can anyone tell me how much the shipping costs are for international members? I'm in Denmark, but the price can't be much different from other european countries. |

Hey Biggs,
Im sorry to say it looks like registration for FSS 6.0 ended back June. You can always try BBTS or some other third party reseller to get them all or just the ones you want. You can however still sign up for the membership to get the Rock n Roll figure. Some people take this route to go third party because in the long run its cheaper to get the few figures they like rather than sub for all of them and end up with something you dont want. |

I think they said they have like 250 sets still available to buy, so I'm pretty sure you're still good to go.
EDIT, As of August 1st, their email said they had 12 of those sets left. So check with them first.

Go to gijoeclub.com & hit the contact us tab. Send them an email & talk directly to the club. FSS 6 registration was left open this year, until all slots are sold. I don't know if that has happened yet, so there may still be a chance to get FSS 6; you'll have to ask the club.
I don't know what international shipping is like with the club, maybe someone else can help you with that. However, I would like to point out that getting a membership also has other benefits; starting with the free membership figure which will be version 2 Rock & Roll this year. Also, there will be a Cobra Night Stalkers 3 pack and the Dreadnok 4x4 w/ Heartwrencher released later this year. You'll also be able to pickup available pieces of FSS 5 & past convention exclusives from the club store. I hope this helps, ultimately it's up to you, whether or not the club is worth it. I've been a member for several years and I've never regretted it. I've only had good experiences with their customer service. The first step would be to send the club an email & ask them if FSS 6 is still available. |

I was trying to weigh the costs. Is there much of a difference between regular and first class? And what is the cost to sign up for the fss? Thanks.

1st class gets you the magazine a few days earlier than regular. FSS 6 was around 460 iirc.

Thank you for the help. I contacted the club directly, and got some very helpful responses.
The FSS 6.0 is sold out sadly, but i got put on a waiting list, in case someone cancels. Otherwise, i'll just have to get the ones i want the most through other sources. It might be worth it to become a member, just for the RnR figure, as i'm guessing it will be kind of a chase figure, as well as for a shot at the other exclusives. I'd still very much like to hear from any european based FSS subscribers, regarding the shipping costs. That's the only thing they couldn't help me with. |

I decided to subscribe for the first time with this one, having previously just picked up individual figures. Shipping to the UK was $141 for all the shipments,I would assume Denmark would be something similar. By the way the price for the sub was $375 so with shipping, additional insurance and a processing fee the total was $549 so basically $42 per figure.
Hope this helps. Last edited by biggs; 09-10-2017 at 05:34 AM.. |
