I got a hot glue gun for perm stuff, but wont it jack up the piece or leave hard gunk in the inside of the hole?

I tried using a hot glue gun, and the stuff wouldn't even adhere, let alone stick enough to damage anything. Maybe it's because the gun was $7 at Target and not very good. Never done a lot of hot gluing so I don't know. I hear the Loctite gel is a good solution; soft and pliable and won't cause *much* damage if removed. I haven't tried it myself, though, because of my fear of commitment. It's fantastic for other more permanent jobs, that much I can say.
The fit on the shoulder pads just kind of sucks in general, though. I think they need to use sturdier plastic as the pegs tend to collapse when you try to attach them. It seems to vary by color, though none of them are great. Filing the sides of the peg down can help a lot.

White Elmers glue. Ya know, the stuff the stupid kids ate in Kindergarten, and you just knew that was the reason they got held back. (Not the fact that they shitty parents who didn't engage with their children so they resulted in eating glue at age 5).

For the shoulder pads, I was cutting the pegs down slightly with a razor blade. Careful, as you can easily cut too much off, and find you will need to glue them on to get them to stay.
