I just pulled my 25th Anniversary Snow Job out of his plastic container and found that part of his foot had melted. Not both, just one. It looks like he stepped in some toxic goo. He can’t use the battle stand anymore, but at least he can still drive the Snow Cat or hide it in a Polar Battle Bear.
Has anybody seen this in other 25th figures? Is it because of the white plastic? Thanks for the info! |

What kind of bad was he sealed in? Was it a regular ziplock? If so, it's not acid free and that could have reacted to the foot. Was he stored in extreme temps? That could do it too.

I’ve read about the storage and try to be as kind to my figures as possible. He was in a plastic bin with ample space but it did have a top on it. Also, my garage does have temperature fluctuations, we are in upstate NY but we rarely hit 90 or 0, plus none of the other figures have any signs of anything like this. Could it be just Snow Job?

Sorry to hear about this; that 25th Ann. Snow job is one of my favorite figures. Mine is still carded, and stored away in a hot closet (non temperature controlled) now that it's summer - though it doesn't get that cold in the winter. I'm afraid to go look at it now.
