That's why I always list economy shipping That way, if I screwed up and something was cheaper to send it Parcel than Priority due to a box size, I won't have to listen to someone say "You charged me for Priority and shipped it parcel" Uh no, I didn't....I sent it exactly how I said I would. |

The problem is no one at ebay/paypal has a brain. I would highly suggest that next time, just refund the person and then send them the combined invoice with an explanation that they have already been refunded etc, you combined shipping and they saved $_____ I have not had an issue with anyone doing that. Otherwise, dude is getting 8 different package. |

Whenever I sell something, I always purchase the insurance and tracking info at my own cost. I would rather feel secure than to get ripped off. It is not really that much more anyway. I always have the shipping at cost or sometimes below to attract buyers. I feel that if I can sell something for what I want to get paid, the shipping is basically on me. I may charge a little, but never overcharge as that is ridiculous despite the Ebay and Paypal fees. I always send things out within 2 business days as well. People do not want to wait.
It is actually stupid of any seller not to purchase the insurance nor a tracking number. The USPS requires proof in case your package gets lost or damaged. If there is a problem, then it is up to the buyer to also provide the proof with pictures of the packaging and of the product. Most of the time, they will not do it as they know they will get caught for trying to fraud the USPS. The only other thing that I can say is that if you are a seller, leave exact details in the listing on anything that may be wrong to cover your own self.
