I have a 50th Baroness and a 25th Baroness. The thin appendages of the figure are quite ok with the firmer plastic of the 25th but quite wobbly with the more rubbery plastic of 50th. Hasbro should have used different molds with such different materials as the tolerances and specs are quite different. Or at least modified them. 3.75 Marvel figs suffer from this same problem, the latter figures of the line are noticeably inferior to the figures from earlier in the decade, even with the same mold. (The softer plastic is kinda nice to paint though, and if handled correctly make more very robust figures).
How about the Renegades Scarlett and Ret Lady Jaye figures? Do they suffer from this same malaise? |

Scarlett and Lady Jaye have both held up well for me. They feel sturdy and have no joint issues. Although the 50th Baroness hasn't given me any particular issues, she does feel a bit cheaper than the former two. Not as bad as some other figures from the era though, surprisingly.

How about the Renegades Scarlett and Ret Lady Jaye figures? Do they suffer from this same malaise? The plastic is different. 50th uses a softer plastic formula that's not as durable as those 2. You can snap arms and legs of 50th Gi Joes with your fingers easy if you want to. |
