A few loose figures that I've purchased off ebay have come with clear little rubber bands, used to either keep removable items from falling off backpacks, i.e. Major Bludd's rockets, or wrapped around a weapon in a hand for those pesky weapons that just dont quite fit properly....anyways, my question is, where can I find these? I checked my local walmart but had no luck. Are they intended for any specific purpose? They are just very small, thin, clear rubber bands.

These clear rubber bands are used by the manufacturer to secure the parts onto the plastic trays. They are also used to keep the weapons attached to hands and such.
I'm not sure if they are available for sale anywhere.

The current Joe/Cobra/Resolute 5-packs and vehicles use them too. Also, a lot of the Marvel Universe 3.75" figures come with them.
I open the majority of my figures and actually keep the clear elastics. I wrapped a marauder's submachine gun handle with one, so my Wolverine Origins Deadpool can grip it properly. These elastics do come in handy. |

You may find something similar in the hair care section of a department store or at a beauty supply shop.

Yah; those come in handy; I am always looking in the trash for the ones I just threw away with the box. LOL. I remember when I had braces I got tons of those from my orthodontist. LOL.
