Found a single pack 25th Red Ninja at Marshalls yesterday on a pretty decent card. First time I've seen him EVER. At $2, it's my best joe find in a while.

Either the word has gotten out or my local Marshalls is pulling 25th. In the Marshalls near me the 25ths have just vanished, and there was so many. I'm guessing they sold well at 2.00, because there's plenty of room for joes still, and a good amount of ROC left even at 3.00. Vehicles are down too only a few 25ths left. Been to 3 Marshalls and just shocked at the inventory. Oddly one night a lady putting up the toys kept telling me "buy everything", sure it was just a way to sell more, now I'm thinking maybe she was hinting they will be gone. That store had well over a hundred 25ths. I just hope they got in the hands of kids or us, and not back to the wearhouse.
One local TJ Maxx has a toy banner outside and on the banner with every toy logo is the G.I Joe graphic, very cool, wish I would have taken a pic of it, not sure if it's still up. I'm trying to stay away to be good, so if I do fall into the trap of going again hopefully I can get a pic. Great store cause it's hidden, found great stuff there. |

Marhsalls here still have a decent amount of 25th on the pegs plus a huge stand that had 25th vehicle plus a bunch of ROC stuff. The figure were priced at $3.99 however.

Yea the pricing scheme is different per store. And even within the same store, some figs are $2 and some are $3. I've heard that if you take 2 different ones with the $2/$3 price tags, most stores will honor the $2 on all figs though.

Yeah, but to be fair, this is a tough time of year to be doing it. It is 25th, but still, a lot of people have tons of other spending priorities, nevermind also keeping up with new lines. Between PoC, MOTUC, DCUC and and the holidays, I've been feeling the hurt lately: CyberMonday, discount stuff, Walmart exclusives hitting late ... and then 25th comes on unexpectedly. I'm just as willing to spend gross amounts more than I should to get product as the next guy, but we all have our limits. If this was the slow summer, I might have picked up double the discount 25th stuff that I have bought at Marshalls and Ross. The collector in me from six months ago can't imagine leaving behind a HoH Zartann, Crimson Guard or SE v1 for $5.99! But I did the other day, because I was just feeling done. |

I've never seen the red ninja at discount (maybe not anywhere), but quite a number of eels. Passed on a couple.
